"Colin - Above & Beyond!"

Colin digitised nearly two hundred 8mm and super8mm films for us, and kept track of them all as he uploaded them to Dropbox for us. This was a big project which we have been meaning to do for years, and we could not be happier with the result. Some of the films are over 60 years old, but he produced excellent images. His price was very reasonable, cheaper than other quotes I had for the same job, but I do not think we could have got a better outcome. He also put up with a lot of delays on our end (family jobs can be complicated) with patience and good manners. Thank you Colin!

Contacted Colin after seeing some of the reviews of his service. I had several VHS tapes I wanted converting plus a couple of old cine films. Arranged to take them to him and he said it would be a couple of weeks. He was in touch within a week saying all done and available on a usb stick. Had a look and the quality of the VHS conversions is really good - I had converted one myself but the quality of Colin’s conversion was much clearer. The cine films were about 70 years old and quite damaged but he still got some images off them and they have enabled my mother in law to see them again which was very important to us. Thanks for the quality job Colin. Highly recommended.

"I was warned it could take a few weeks"

I was warned it could take a few weeks. I was worried that everything was kosher. I needn’t have worried I got them in the end. Some of them was when I was around 4 years old, 65 years ago!
Had everything put on a stick with music (you can always turn the sound off but it was nice piano music) then I could download to google to pass around the world.
I had a look at the first 2 files (29 reels altogether) I had never seen before & sat there with tears in my eyes watching my parents sailing. I only wished I had done it before my mother & father died.
The music was a nice touch & is good to have it all running at the right speed. I look forward to watching the rest.
Thanks again it was worth every penny.

Great communication. Informed me that it might not work before proceeding. Managed to make it work with water damage. Cine film was approx 52 years old. Help when I had a few issues with downloading it. Excellent service and I have a treasured memory to keep. Thank you so much.

Colin did an amazing job with my Super 8 films - some of which were over 65 years old. One had snapped and I had no idea what was on them. They came back on a downloadable file full of colour and clarity. No jumping frames and no signs of any breakage.
Just marvellous! Colin is great to deal with and turned things around really quickly. You won't find a better service!

Got Colin to transfer and old tape to disc and love it! Great communication from Colin and easy to drop off and pick up of the item. I will be back for more once I have received the other reems of film from my parents.

Superb service. Posted a 60 year old cine film on Tuesday and the dvd arrived back at home on the Saturday. Beat that.

Much better quality than the cine as well with a pleasant soundtrack.
