Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! All friendly and kind, and an absolutely stellar service. I broke down this morning after a clutch issue failure, and the car was undriveable. I sat on the roadside for 3 hours and the RAC was estimating a 9 hour wait in total. I called up and spoke to Kenny, and the service was perfect. I rang through and got a thorough explanation as to what might have happened and he asked me questions to troubleshoot over the phone, gave me a quote and said they would do it the same day. Once I had my wait extended by the RAC, I rang them back to ask if they could still do it the same day and despite it now being mid afternoon they said they would. Kenny organised recovery for me and then sorted my car on the same day. The price was really affordable and fair as well. Highly recommend.

AA took my car to the Strood branch for failed clutch in April last year. A new clutch was fitted and few weeks later, I started hearing some funny noise but did not pay attention until I noticed that I have some patches of oil under the car. I took the car to another garage who found a loose bolt in the gearbox. This caused irreparable damage to my gearbox and the brand new clutch fitted by Mr Clutch. I went to the Strood branch to complain and was rudely asked to bring back the car to their garage before they could do anything. I replied that the cost of diagnosis, putting back the gearbox and taking the car back to their garage will be too costly and, who will pay that bill? The response was that it was my problem. I had therefore to give the go ahead to the new garage to find me a second hand gearbox and replace the new clutch. However, I felt that it was not fair after spending over £1100, I decided to write a complaint to MR Clutch head office who sent someone to pick up the damaged gearbox (which is yet to be returned to date) and offered to provide a refurbished gearbox and another clutch. However, I had already had my car fixed as it is the only mean of transport to work for me. I therefore forwarded the invoice from the new garage to Mr Clutch which has refused to pay. They have therefore, kept both my gearbox and my monies. This is really so unprofessional. All was needed was for the Strood manager to propose what the head office did for this issue to take a different turn. She was so unprofessional that she has put me under a lot of stress which is unfair

09/05/24: Just for an update. I have been contacted by Mr Clutch and offered a settlement of half of the invoice bill (which amounts to £550.00). However, these monies will only be paid to me if I removed/delete my review from Trustpilot. What a laugh!! A clutch under guarantee is not replaced and a gearbox completely damaged by the left loose bolt either. Just be aware. Since their policy seems to be to only compensate those who do not give them negative reviews. This, of course, will not reflect the truth. Be aware of the number of stars!!!
