If I could give this company less than one star I would. After 7 years with no claims I made a small genuine claim at the end of January due to Storm Eowyn and in spite of several emails asking what was happening with the claim, without any response, it's taken over two months for them now to say they need more information . The renewal is due in two days time and the increased quote they have provided is almost the same as the claim. I also cannot renew with any other company until the claim is settled . I've had to withdraw the claim so I can get cover with a " reputable " insurer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!

Filed claim and didn’t hear back for nearly 2 months later - response was 3 sentences and said claim rejected because employer has no payroll in your state. No advice on what to do about my torn acl mcl. Also I was emailing the adjuster for a month prior only to be told ‘she doesn’t work here’ - no auto reply etc. mess of a company

"Claimed for burst pipe under floor…"
Claimed for burst pipe under floor requiring trace and repair and moved all bathroom furniture to keep any damage to minimum. Plumber bill £550 water escape £5000!!! Wouldn’t pay for plumber to reinstate floor and pipe work saying no damage so won’t pay! Luckily water company understanding and wrote off the water loss but could have been a complete financial disaster! Don’t insure with AM Trust!!! they take the money but will find a reason not to pay even after honest client trying to mitigate costs! NO STARS IF I COULD!

Worse experience I’ve ever had to deal with. It all went wrong at the start of my claim. In which I raised back in July every week I had to chase for an update. Finally the first week in November they declared it as a write off and arranged for pick up. I was advised I would hear something in 7 working days with my settlement payment. Again I had to chase this for just over 3 weeks. In the meantime I raised a complaint by using the feedback email address that is always provided in trust pilot. This was for the poor customer service and unrealistic expectations. To my surprise when I called the complaints team the payment was made instantly. My question is why couldn’t the call handlers do this when I called the 10th time chasing payment. To close my complaint I was offered a little compensation. Not much but something due to the amount of Times I’ve been calling and the 5 months to resolve my claim. This should have been paid into my bank account with in 7-10 working days. So payment was expected the first week in December. Guess what?? I’m still chasing this payment. I’ve had no reply to my emails since the 2nd January. What a joke and really unprofessional service.
Please don’t reply back with the feedback or complaints email address as I’ve already gone down that route.

Everything went wrong from the start of the claim except for the independent assessor. I had 2 minor bumps in our caravan whilst on holiday in France in September. One turned out to be very expensive as Swift Caravans method of construction meant new panels were needed. Ie made the claim with estimates in early October but Amtrust did not authorize the insurance payment until Nov 22nd when I also submitted my bank details as requested for the payment to be paid directly to me, minus the excess. I assumed this would take 3- 5 working days, the industry standard As I write this on December 5th I have still not received payment and I cannot go ahead as the repairers need a large deposit to cover the cost of the parts and will not book the caravan for repair until they receive the parts. The repairers told us today that it could be as late as March 2025.
A week later on November 29th payment had not been received so I rang and spoke Puneet who said she would put the claim through to the accounts dept. So then, a week had passed without any attempt to process the payment. She told me she would process it straight away. Rang the company again On Dec 3rd and learned it had still not been processed. Their time scale turned out to be 7 - 10 days but by this time it was well over that period. Whoever I spoke to said it would now be processed and she could not do anything to speed it up. When asked, I said that yes I would like to make an official complaint and spoke to a man called Rory, who was very understanding. However there was nothing he could do about the company falling short and he was unable to get the payment to me quicker. I would like to know why the complaints dept exists if they cannot sort out the companys own errors. There are so many dire reviews about this company on Trust Pilot that it is clear to me that the people at the top never look at the reviews ( or they do not care!) because if they did they would be so ashamed and surely revise their procedures. So then here I am wondering if they really have processed my payment. The next 7 - 10 days may result in payment received and then again, maybe not. I am not holding my breath. Take my advice never ever deal with this company. David Tate

Second new message,They told me someone should contact me, it still hasent been done, still a shit company times three shit company now.

I wish I could rate ZERO stars.
My companion's medical workman's compensation care has been extremely mismanaged by AmTrust employee, Christine Sital.
Christine allowed my companion to go 8 WEEKS without being seen immediately after his emergency room visit, to have his broken arm set. Now he has to have corrective surgery after the mess Christine Sital has created.
What kind of human being in the healthcare industry would allow this to happen, and show such lack of care and concern?
What kind of company would employ such ineptitude when working with people who are medically challenged and in great pain?
Now we have to start the process all over again, surgery and another brace for 6-8 weeks thanks to the obtuse Christine Sital.
Christine was combative every step of the way, in my opinion, making excuse after excuse rather than taking control of the situation.
Not answering phone calls, and emails alerting her every step of the way what was going wrong.....NOTHING.......like talking to a sponge.

Crooked company. Jennifer is a nightmare to deal with and extremely disrespectful. They'll do anything for a little extra money - including screwing people over. This company should be looked into and I am not sure how the people who work there sleep at night.

Shady company I will stay away from. I owe them $194. If I try to pay them via their phone system it will charge me $194 plus credit card fees. If I try to pay on their website they add a ton of shady fees that make no sense. I'm looking at a billing fee of $15 plus over $6 to use a credit card. On the phone I'm asked to pay less than $200 but on their website I'm asked for $215. So what is the accurate amount? Does this company just make up numbers to charge people? Disgusting. Get your act together.
