I was referred to Dr Julian by NHS Talking Therapies and I am very grateful for the access to this therapy and service.
My therapist Andrew Langford was knowledgeable, informative, empathetic and I cant thank him enough for his work with me over our 10 sessions. Andrew has given me tools and exercises to now continue with my personal progress on my own.
I personally found the Dr Julien App really easy to use.

"Therapy with Shuwana Matthews :) "
Today I finished my last session of therapy. I started doing therapy due to anxiety & low self esteem for 12 weeks. This was my first time doing therapy, so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite worried about how I would feel about it. But thankfully Shuwana has been an incredible therapist. Shuwana was very patient with me, managed to listen to me as well as understand me and at no point did I ever feel judged by Shuwana. She pays attention to every detail, she never failed to show that she cared about me. She made me feel safe and free, she was literally my safe space. I’m glad that I trusted her and the process. I did make a lot of progress thanks to her, December me and May me are completely different people. I am extremely proud of myself. Thank you Shuwana for pushing me into doing and being better.
I was extremely lucky and blessed for having Shuwana as my therapist and I would definitely recommend her to everyone! The sessions were flexible and it was also easy to book in with her. I have NO complaints at all. Once again thank you Shuwana for everything, I’m extremely grateful for you, I owe you my life!

I was very skeptical after being referred for CBT from the NHS. I have been through CBT multiple times with very limited results. However Diana Gaga brought a new approach, which did not involve reading tonnes and tonnes of information for homework (which is what I’ve had before). She really understood my issues and made sure to outline the best ways to help me reduce my anxiety and depression, and how to carry this forward in future. The skills I have learnt are invaluable and what I’ve learnt about myself is definitely going to help me. Diana was always so caring and listened very intently to everything I said, picking up on things and reflecting where I would never think to. Thank you so much for all your help!

I don't know where to start or finish really. Reading all the positive reviews says it all and I can't really add to it. James Sage proved to be a a massive help to me and has given me tools to help me manage my condition. I never once felt that we were working down a tick list and always felt that I was in the care of a truly great professional. I am very grateful for the time and experience that I've had with the Dr Julian Medical Group and can't recommend them enough.

"Transformative"
My therapist Karen Johnstone immediately won my complete trust and confidence. Over the following weeks she gently guided me step by step to a completely different place. I’m not saying it was easy, but no matter what we talked about Karen didn’t miss a trick. Session by session I felt I was making progress. Honestly, if you had told me 6 months ago how much better I would be feeling now I wouldn’t have believed you. I did question whether meeting online would work as well as face to face but on reflection I think it did. The platform is easy to navigate and the online sessions were efficient and convenient. The whole experience has been transformative for me. I can’t thank Karen enough.

"Wow! I wasn't expecting much but……….."
I was sceptical about the online service and wanted face to face. I was wrong to be sceptical and found the online service to be highly effective.
Being in my own home was convenient and conducive to exploring and sharing deep rooted anxieties and helped the process.
Cathy the therapist’s contribution was exceptionally professional, intuitive and the key to my ongoing recovery. Cathy expertly guided and supported me gradually through some especially painful issues. The pace was perfect and I never felt rushed or pressured to move forward too early. Cathy showed empathy at every stage and ensured I was suitable armed with strategies and tools to help me deal with my concerns and build on my progress. The course was at times painful but equally peppered with fun and humour. I am incredibly grateful to Cathy for helping me find myself again. Keep doing what you are doing Cathy, you are amazing. I would strongly recommend the service to others.

Consistent, regular, relevant therapy with CBT therapist. High quality care. Didn't sign ,e off until they knew I was in safe hands of a psychiatrist. Kind and friendly therapist, Peter Roberts.

"Therapist lied about their service"
Absolutely disgusting actions taken by therapist. I advised that confusing developments about my sexuality were causing me severe depression and suicidal ideation. The therapist simply said that Dr Julian doesn't offer support to LGBT+ issues or psychosexual therapiea and that I need to go elsewhere.
It literally says on their website that they do offer this support.
Good for the therapist for basically confirming all the negative thoughts about myself and my low self worth by pushing me away without any help.
