"Fantastic Experience!!"

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the first initial enquiry to the fitting they were totally professional. The quality of the blind is excellent and the price, well lets put it this way I thought there was a nought missing when I got the quote as we’ve used a different company in the past who were so much more expensive. Both Emma and Neil are polite and friendly. Neil came to do the measure up and fit during the Covid pandemic and he wore a face mask and sanitised his hands without being asked to do so. He also wore covers on his feet to protect our carpets from any dirt from outside. Totally totally professional. Will definitely use The Blind Factory Leeds again. Thank you

"Poor customer service"

Very disappointed with the poor customer service received from Emma. Having made an appointment three weeks ago, she rang us 30 minutes before our appointment time, to cancel as she was working from home today to wait in for a delivery and had only just looked in the diary and seen our appointment. Luckily we managed at very short notice to contact another company who did want our business and we were able to put in an order for new blinds for three large windows.

"Highly recommend"

Many thanks to Emma and co, you had previously done our blinds and had been recommended you through a friend. So glad we chose this company, great service and very Hubble people from start to finish. Never had any issues answering questions etc. Highly recommend them, great prices and genuinely lovely company. Thank you for the blinds, they compliment and go with our aesthetics for the rest of the house!

"UNPROFESSIONAL UNHELPFUL COMPANY"

Having bought a substantial number of blinds from ‘The Blind Factory Leeds’ when refurbishing my home, I am absolutely disgusted and shocked by the appalling aftersales service I have been given.
My Louvolite One Touch motorised blind has gone faulty within the 12 month warranty period, resulting in the roller blind fabric getting jammed in the motor mechanism. I contacted the company and an appointment was arranged for Neil to attend.
Neil arrived and immediately told me that this was not covered by the warranty, despite the fact it was obviously a mechanical fault as the blind is only operated remotely and not by a physical touch. He managed to remove the jammed fabric and when I asked if the fabric would be replaced as it had been kinked and now had several creases which could potentially lead it to jam again, Neil was very abrupt and adamant that he would not be replacing it. When I remarked to him that this was ludicrous as the fault had occurred within 12 months and therefore damage to the blind caused by the motor should be covered by warranty, he became agitated and I found his demeanour very alarming.
He also could not set the blind so that it would sit level, and refused to acknowledge that he had installed it like this at the outset. He accused me of taking the blinds down and reprogramming them, rather than accepting this was due to his defective workmanship. As previously stated, I have no reason to touch or take down the blinds as they are set on an automated schedule to open and close. When I explained I was not happy with his response, he was extremely unprofessional and spoke in a very aggressive manner. Despite this being a prearranged appointment, he told me that he did not have the ‘time’ nor did he bring ‘tools’ to resolve the problem.
I have found that if you question Neil on his workmanship or work ethic he refuses to accept responsibility for any faults and becomes highly irate and forceful in his manner. I found this very disturbing as my young daughter was also home at the time. He caused deep distress to my daughter as she was concerned by his aggressive tone of voice.
When Neil had initially installed my Sunwood blinds, he was insistent that the safety cleats had to be screwed into the frames of my new UPVC windows and refused to accept any alternative suggestion. As I felt, Neil lacked knowledge regarding the complexity of safety regulations. I contacted The British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) for further advice who confirmed that it was not necessary for the cleats to be screwed into the UPVC frame and that it was perfectly acceptable for them to be fitted to the bay window ceiling as it was within reach for an adult and more than 1.5m from the floor, which is what the regulations stipulate. When I relayed this information to Neil he begrudgingly agreed to fit the cleats to the ceiling as I had evidence to support my suggestion.
I would say to anyone that if you are spending a lot of money I would most certainly look elsewhere for a much more reputable company. My experience here has been that Neil comes across initially as a pleasant character but if you dare to question his knowledge/workmanship, he becomes extremely unprofessional and aggressive.
Would I recommend him… ABSOLUTELY NOT!
