"Birthday surprise for my 80yo Mum"

I found a pile of old 8mm films in my parents garage from the 1970s and I wanted to digitise them for my mother in particular who will turn 80 and has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s decease. So I looked for somebody who would give as much care as I would. The Vintage Photo Lab came to pick up the films and dropped them back after (in central London) so I didn’t have to worry about mailing them. They even numbered them for me to better categorise them (some were unlabelled). Their communication was the best and I was informed every step of the way. Watching these all clips back stirred some emotions in myself and I can’t wait to share them with my mum and the wider family at her birthday!
