"Sickened"

If I could rate this company with a minus star, I would. Please believe all the bad reviews. I wish I’d scrolled down further when I was reading the reviews. I think they must get someone they know to flood Trust Pilot with good reviews to cover all the bad ones.
One of them will write a response claiming they have gone above and beyond but it is all lies. They say they are a family company, they say they have integrity, they say a lot of nice things about themselves. But they are cutting corners and leaving so many families in a financial mess. If they say I’m not a customer like they have to Angela, this is a lie. I do not know how they sleep at night.
I went with this company because they were advertising as a Rochdale company in Red Rose magazine and we somehow were redirected to Bespoke Composite Doors. Every thing about their operation is shifty and dishonest.
The company suggested that we had an ‘opened up’ conservatory, also referred to ‘non-exempt’ in August. This means there are no doors separating the conservatory from your house. Alarm bells started when we had received no paperwork which they said would be electronic; the order confirmation or schedule of work never arrived. Then when I rang, there was a muttered ‘hello’ or ‘Bespoke.’ When I challenged this, the voice said they were the same company. Then they sent out a surveyor. This man, we later found out, was a window measurer. We were told that the whole process would take no longer than 7 weeks so when we got to the third week, I rang again and was promised that the builders would be with us by the end of the week. When the builders arrived, they didn’t know the size or location of the conservatory. We had been advised that the conservatory foundations should be 1.5m deep but the builders started building on our concrete printing. Josh sent out his ‘top team’ who worked really hard but when a builder we knew saw the work, he advised us to involve Building Control due to all the issues he could see. The GM insisted that Building Control should be involved at the very end. This is untrue. We should also have involved SAP to ensure that we were meeting thermal standards. We paid for the Building Control inspection and were told that the foundations and brickwork were shoddy and they did not meet Building Control regulations for a non-exempt conservatory. We were also told that it would be us who were liable to correct all the mistakes if we went ahead with Riverdale/Bespoke’s plans. We agreed to have an exempt conservatory - with separating doors - but Building Control still had to oversee the standard. At this point, Riverdale claimed that they could not get the standard of builders to complete the job and wanted to terminate our contract. We have paid £7,252 and the only part of the building work that we can still use is the footings. This work costs no more than £900. We have three separate builder reports which state that the brickwork and foundations need to start from scratch.
So we have nothing to show for our money. We are currently using the DGCOS as mediators. So far Riverdale have offered us a partial refund but why would you accept that when you have paid for a complete conservatory base? It would be like going to a car dealership, ordering a lovely new car and when it arrives there are no wing mirrors, all the windows are smashed and the engine needs replacing. Would you accept this? No. So why would you accept a shoddily build conservatory base which would undoubtedly have caused us problems months down the line. I cannot believe that they are allowed to trade. We will probably have to go to court now. The stress is making me ill and they know that the conservatory was meant to be a positive environment for my cancer recovery.

"I do not recommend this company"

I do not recommend this company. I did not get the glass that I ordered in the front door. I was told by the engineers they would change it later and someone would contact me the next day - this did not happen. Trying to contact someone regarding a complaint is at best difficult and when you do manage to get an email reply certain members of the company are condescending and dismissive.
It was made out to be my fault as the sales order and survey did not fully match and only half of what I ordered was delivered. I have read reviews on here from the company in response to other similar complaints stating that both the sales order form and survey report are checked when ordering the product but in my experience this double check does not take place and if there are any subsequent issues the customer is deemed at fault. There has also not been any robust investigation into this issue all I am told is " I was not there so I don't know" - not acceptable for a professional company.
Again not recommend as what I was looking forward to be an exciting time has left me with a sour taste in my mouth and a door I didn't order

"Purchased both the front and back door…"

Purchased both the front and back door off these cowboys. The back door had to be installed 3 times and then the kitchen doorway repainted due to their inadequacy and then they altered the manufacturing of the front door handle (which has a 5 warranty but means nothing) so now we have no door handle unless we purchase a new one. Customer service has been shocking throughout with a rude Csa and unanswered emails

"Placed an order and was advised…"

Placed an order and was advised delivery would be 2/3 by Mo. On the 4th week I was trying to locate my order but was advised Nicola was not in so they could not provide a fitting date. On the 3rd September I was advised fitting would be on the 13th September. No fitters turned up today so when I phoned Bespoke it took them over an hour to advise fitter had not turned in and next date would be Tuesday 21st September. They could not give a reason why the rescheduled date has to be another 8 days. Jish is supposed to phone back and advise. I could have got the doors cheaper but I paid more because Bespoke said they could fit sooner. I would find it hard to recommend this Company and would definitely look around. In the meantime I will wait for Josh to call and the eventual fitting of my doors.

"Really recommend this company"

I have had 2 new doors, a French Door and 7 windows just replaced. The house is a old cottage conversion and the French doors replaced the original patio doors. The old doors and windows were probably about 25 years old or so and were in terrible condition. The new ones are much, much better. They give the house a whole new feel.

It took just under 2 days to fit the windows and French doors. All the old material was taken away and they tidied up afterwards.

I recommend the company, their products and the workmen.

"Me and my husband placed an order for 1…"

Me and my husband placed an order for 1 composite door on the 26th of January 2021 and paid a cash deposit of £1100. it’s been over 4 months and I still haven’t heard anything. I have called a numerous amount of times and spoke to Georgina who apparently ‘doesn’t work there any more’ and Keith but all I am being told is that my door is on order and it will be with you some time next week. This is absolutely ridiculous terrible customer service.

"I had some windows fitted by Dave in…"

I had some windows fitted by Dave in 2018 they did a great job. I called bespoke on 01204 401175 towards the end March and arranged a time with a chap who claimed he was an installation manager. He spoke very arrogantly. He said he will arrange a sales man to come around to leave me a price for a new front door. I was told that somebody will be coming out today. It has been 3 weeks nobody has bothered to even answer the phone. Dave has told me that he has sold bespoke so this explains a lot. He has advised for a fitter to come and leave me a price. It’s a shame looks like I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

"Had 4 windows fitted at the beginning…"

Had 4 windows fitted at the beginning of April 2021 and they are superb - the windows are tilt and turn and are great for cleaning them ourselves, which is necessary in a 3 storey townhouse.
The fitters worked hard for almost 9 hours, were very courteous and kept us informed all along before tidying everything away including taking away the old windows.
There were a few small snags, which have been speedily resolved.
We would readily recommend this company to install any windows in our friends and neighbours' houses.
