"Great idea, good company with good intentions but..."

Great idea and seems they have good intentions with paper packaging, free trial, donating to charities etc. however the flavours I've tried (strawberry sundae, chocolate swirl and coffee one?) didn't taste great, the free shaker's lid wouldn't close properly and the powder was always clumpy and unpleasant no matter how much you shake it.

Been using this product for just over a year and It has become a daily part of my diet. The fact that I can take the sachet out in my bag and have my shake on the go is perfect!! 10/10

Honest review. Not for me.
It's a great idea and the service/ethos is all great. But the product is really quite poor.
No matter how much shaking or how much extra liquid you add, the shake is still lumpy and powdery. As someone who regularly uses shake supplements, this is just too clumpy.
The free shaker isn't great either. Just get a cheap one off Amazon and use it as at least the lid will click closed when pushed. This one just rests in the hole.
The paper packaging is another great idea as it is recyclable and I am all for it, but it makes pouring the powder into the receptacle very messy. I've tried several ways of opening it and the only way to really do it is with scissors to stop it going everywhere but it doesn't say this on the instructions.
I really wanted to like this product and was hoping for better but now I'm just glad I got the trial box.

I was kindly gifted some abnormal shakes to try and I am super impressed. I love this brand and how environmentally friendly they are. Everything down to the packaging, shakes and ethos is well thought out for help impact the planet for the better.

I had the Chocolate flavour, not a super rich flavour but tasty all the same.

I love this product. I’m autistic and struggle with sensory sensitivity around food, particularly in the morning so I use abnormal for breakfast and sometimes for lunch.

The taste is better than anything else on the market - I’m very, very fussy and I love all the flavours available (apart from chocolate but that’s a me thing).

The texture of the shakes can sometimes be clumpy and powdery, this can be fixed by a blender and doesn’t put me off although I would encourage abnormal to perhaps work on this by improving the shaker.

The service has always been great and the free starter kit made it accessible for me to try without wasting money.

I kind of wish there was some testimonials from autistic and disabled people because products like this can help us immensely with our lives but we’re often not seen as valuable consumers. Saying that though the abnormal branding does feel more inclusive than others on the market which seem to pitch exclusively to gym goers or people looking for weight loss.
