"Lovely new composite door and windows"

I've just had a new composite door and windows fitted and love them! They have made such a difference to the older style ones I had previously which were draughty and didn't close properly. These ones are much more energy efficient and the difference in temperature in my kitchen is amazing. I would definitely use this company again as the service I received was excellent. My order was a little delayed due to Covid, with material shortages which is completely understandable, but I was kept informed so that I knew when to expect them.
First class service!

"AFF Fabrications Not For Me"

Very Poor Customer Service. Phoned Company to advise I was looking to by bespoke french doors and was told delivery would be between 5 &7 weeks. I immediately went on line to order following the advise I been given. I was told after order that delivery company would phone with delivery time and that there was no need to phone. Have way through the 7th week I send an email to advise on delivery as I had not heard anything. I received an email that they were waiting for delivery company to collect from factory. My next email advising I was told delivery was meant to be between 5 &7 weeks and I booked someone for the following weekend for installation. I then received a further email advising suppliers had let them down and they were short on glass. Much different from my first email. I then had to put some pressure on the company and ask for my money back as they were out of contract. Further emails back saying we would refund as it’s in there contract they do refund for bespoke items. I was quite mad at this point advising I required details for their legal department to give to my lawyer and I would not be entering in any further communication. Within a few mins I received an email advising my doors would be delivered the following Monday. Not bad since firstly it was the delivery company fault, secondly their suppliers let them down and then thirdly the door will be there in a few days. The doors did arrive today and I have nothing but respect for the two guys who delivered they, 10 out of 10 for those guys. But a lesson to be learned for others who wish to buy from this company, hold them to a contract and don’t let them walk over you. For me I would never use them again

"very poor customer service"

The product itself was fine but the customer experience was terrible.

First of all they couldn’t give me an estimate of the delivery date until two week after I ordered it which is not ideal when trying to plan a project.

When they did give me a delivery date they informed me that the two frame extenders I ordered would not be delivered in the same delivery but the day after.

When the frame extenders didn’t turn up the day after I tried calling but couldn’t speak to anyone as the office is shut on Friday afternoon.

When I did manage to talk to someone on the Monday morning they said that it should have turn up as it was sent next day delivery on Thursday.

After speaking to the delivery company it turns out that was not correct it was sent on Friday on a 3-5 day delivery service.

It turned up on Tuesday but only one frame extender was sent when I ordered two.

I couldn’t wait any longer so I source one locally for much more money.

They did refund me for the one that didn’t turn up but wouldn’t compensate me any more that that despite the extender I sourced locally costing more than double that.

Do not use this company if you are working to a deadline.

"No good"

Ordered some french doors. They turned up scratched and with missing hinge parts (luckily I had some spares knocking about). The supplied handles did not match, so one door has a longer handle than the other! The keep plate is completely out of line with the locking mechanism on the master door - so much so that adjusting the hinges etc could not make it work and I had to dismantle the slave door and re-install the keep plate at the correct height. I also had to cut the frames to allow the top and bottom bolts to engage.
There was a delay of several weeks, with zero comms, before delivery.
Contacting them was pretty pointless, they directed me to the supplied install instructions (cheeky!) and offered a touch-up pen!
Cheap, but for a reason it would seem.

"Shocking Aftersales, doors manufactured incompetently, do not give ATT your money!"

The French doors and side lites I purchased were of reasonable quality for the money I paid however the sill was cut short and the locking mechanism and stay did not line up. I contacted ATT to report this defect and was treated like a guilty party in a court case. Do not give this company your money, the after sales team are hostile, rude and childish. I was told repeatedly to take the door to bits and reattach the stay in the correct place myself. I would not have minded so much had the woman I was dealing with from att on the phone was horrible and rude. You would be better giving your money to charity, never before in my life have I received such poor after sales service. What a joke, terrible service left me out of pocket.

"Good Quality Product, Sadly 4 Weeks Late and Poor Communication"

I really would like to give 5 stars as this is a fabulously good quality product for what you pay however my experience was very challenging and difficult.

Put the order in on the 23rd September where the website informs you its 'In Stock' and will be delivered within 10-15 days.

On Day 15 after my order and with zero communication I email them to be informed I should be expecting a phone all from HDS delivery. This call never happened and I had to chase again a week later.

Finally now Day 20 from order I get a very rude phonecall from HDS Delivery to tell me it will be delivered the following Monday, which would be Day 26 from order. They then phone back 5 minutes later to say actually they don't have the door it will be November 2nd (Day 40) before I get the doors.

I contact ATT to try figure out why there is such a delay and am informed theres a delay with the glass company and thus it will be November 2nd, but I am told I will be kept up to date if this changes.

On November 1st I have received no updates as promised, so I contact ATT again to be told I had been emailed to confirm delivery, I never got this email and even checked my junk folder, I asked them to resend it - To date I still actually have never received this...

On November 2nd the doors did arrive, I have to say I want to give 5 stars, the doors are great, they arrived undamaged and very well packed.

But for the delay of 4 weeks I have to remove 2 stars, and for the complete lack of communication I remove another star.

Whats interesting is, all the labels and documentation on the doors have a manufacture date of September, they were also very dusty - like they had been hanging around a factory for a while.

My assumption is they delayed delivery until they had a lot of orders in my area to deliver, Which I understand from a business point of view but as a customer is is very frustrating.

If you want good quality doors at a very good price, Go right ahead. Just be prepared to wait a long time and hear nothing about how its progressing.

"Bought a garden room to use as an…"

Bought a garden room to use as an office and to get away from kids! I paid extra and went for the glazed corner which looks great and let’s in loads of light. Delivery was good and on time and was straightforward enough to install. It took two of us the weekend with just a few bits left to finish off. Would defiantly recommend.

"Quality of doors/ windows very good however"

Quality of doors/ windows very good, however doors had a couple if scratches, windows delivered with no handles. They then couldn't find handles to match doors, had to pick different finish to get a set that matched. But I had to pay to get them! Ordered 2 windows but not via website as not live yet, sent email with dimension but didn't tell them I wanted window sills, why would I? Windows arrived with no sills but fitted perfectly in gap, therefore no chance of getting sills sent. Hi elsewhere and maybe pay 20% more, it's not worth the hassle.

"After working from home for 6 months…"

After working from home for 6 months due to the virus on the dining room table I needed a proper office as I have been told we wont ever be going back into the office full time. Very pleased with the building it looks fantastic and very contemporary in the dark grey. It really sets the garden off rather than being a wooden shed in the corner which I didn't want. The guys who built it were excellent and had it up in a day so pleased I went for that. Would definitely recommend to others.
