Basically the review is only until my situation is rectified (which it probably wont) my email should be under the name Jeremy if anyone decides to get in contact. The issue is that there are about 4 different websites besides the manufacturers site that was selling roof racks. All of them even the manufacturer stated there will be delays due to not enough stock etc except for one. The one website who did not mention these delays and said that they did have it in stock was BackCountryRacks. The delays have been going on for a while from what Im seeing so they had ample time to reflect this on their website. I decided to go ahead and ourchase from them and a few days later I receieve a email that the racks are back ordered and I will be waiting about two months before my order is placed. I expressed that I understand and that is fine and asked when should I receive my item and upon their reply that It wont even ship until september I stated that I was not happy with the fact that after spending a good couple hundred that I had to find out later that my item is not even available. The reply to that was simply, something along the lines of “we will email you when it ships”.

"Accurate Product Suggestions for Your Vehicle"
First - product is exactly what I expected and fit my car perfectly like the website’s search suggested and product description reported.
I dropped a star because when the roof rack arrived, the packaging was a disaster. Also, there was a minor piece that was chipped. This damage had no negative effects on performance and is not visible once installed.
Usually receiving a product in that condition would have infuriated me, but I did purchase from a “clearance” portion of the website for 50% off retail. I’m sure it was a return or something.

"Great product/ poor delivery method"
Received every part/ piece as expected from order in great condition. Only reason this is not a 5 star review is because the order came in 3 separate delivered and was not communicated that each piece to the complete set would be shipped individually. When I received the first package I thought I ordered the wrong piece and wasted time calling the help center which is down due to covid. So then I had to email the hell center in which I never got a response. Fortunately the other two parts/ shipments arrived a week later.

Backcountry Racks has great customer service. They personally helped me find the right bike rack and roof rack for my car at the prices that worked for me, and helped me troubleshoot. Highly recommend!

"Good product, poor customer service by the mfg"
The item came quickly, but the mfg knowingly shipped it with the wrong foam blocks. After I spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out I called the mfg and the person I spoke with said they didn't have the right blocks so they shipped they shipped the blocks for a roof rack instead! I asked if I should modify the blocks to fit and she said I didn't have to but I could if I wanted to. There's no way the blocks would fit without cutting them, which I did, but it's pretty ghetto looking. I understand this is the mfg, and what bothers me is they could have added a note in the packaging to explain so you're not wasting time realizing it's the wrong part, and the person I spoke to on the phone was so nonchalant about it all. They also said I could send them an email requesting the right blocks, but they don't know when they'll be in. She should have at least said sorry about this and taken my name. I sent an email asking for the right blocks, but days later haven't receive any response. Good product, poor customer service.
