I'm an installer and recently started installing Alpha systems. Wish I had made the change sooner, such a great product with a great technical support team. The systems also looks really smart and works amazingly.

As an installer, Alpha's tech support is efficient and effective. My latest issue was resolved fairly quickly and an engineer spent time looking at drawings with me to solve the problem.

Alpha ESS – Really good Tech support

I have had a Alpha ESS Smile5 with 10kW for a year now and has worked seamlessly. Really pleased with the performance overall. System has charged from the grid when needed but have never understood the forced feed-in function, (thought it was my lack of understanding).

Recently experienced multiple wi-fi failures and log on failures to the App. When I finally got round to asking for tech support the experience was pleasantly surprising. The engineer responded quickly, sorted the log in/password issues and investigated the wi-fi dropouts. (turned out to be a local supplier issue).

Each time I have asked for additional information (feed-in charging, supplier info) following the initial request the same engineer has replied demonstrating a degree of customer ownership that is so lacking in many other organisations.

"Alpha-Ess, good kit, non-existent support"

The equipment is fine but the App and WEB logon are totally useless. I needed to change my password, the system failed to accept the new password but wouldn't let me logon via either method with the old password. The recovery system is total pants, just doesn't work at all, 5 mins to input the digit code is actually less than 60 seconds and still fails, doesn't even recognise their own logon codes !. Absolutely no response to my several emails regarding these issues, essentially one to avoid.

Notified them of problem last night and they had it resolved for me by 10am this morning. Prompt response and action was very much appreciated.

We have installed Alpha Ess for a while now and can honestly say hand on heart that their kit is one of the best around, coupled with great tech support. Over the years we have installed some of the larger known brands but Alpha blows them out the water. To date we have had no reliability issues which can't be said for some of the well known, more expensive brands!
To also be able to speak to someone easily on the phone for technical advice is invaluable and gives us as installers more confidence.
We have recently installed some of their latest G3 hybrid inverters which showed to us their continued improvement and investment to provide the best inverters and batteries at affordable prices currently on the market. Give them a go, you won't be disappointed!!

UK Alpha Smile5 + 4 5.7 batteries single phase system: Having noticed a drop in overnight off-peak grid to battery charge rate, Alpha Service team responded to my service ticket within 3 days, remotely checked and altered the system within 48 hours and charge rate is now back to normal. Excellent, free support.
