I purchased a pixel 8 pro in like new condition, saved a few hundred dollars compared to buying a brand new one, very happy with the phone and the customer service was top notch, able to answer any questions and knowledgeable when it comes to tech, very friendly service and even threw in a cable and a charging block free off charge, I will buy from these guys again and will recommend them to family and friends

"Terrible customer service"

Terrible customer service. Never answer the phones. Take your money and tell you the iPad will be repaired in 48hours (2 weeks out of warranty) 1 month later and still no iPad. No one returns messages or emails. Zero care is given. We will buy elsewhere. I can recommend Rebelo.

What a load of rubbish. We dropped the iPad in January and you handed it back a week later saying it was fine and use the home key to unlock. Within 5 minutes of getting home it was doing exactly the same thing. We bought it back and was told it would be sent away for further diagnosis.! week later according to find my device its still sitting in your store. 2 weeks later we are told it needs a new screen and you would wave half the repair cost. It would take two days to repair. We then get told you won't cover half the repair cost. pay $200 and it will be fixed in 48 hours.
Another two and half weeks go by before we get it back.
$30 doesn't even come close to the time wasted driving back and forward to your store to be fed rubbish.
We buy several iPads a year and will never buy from you again. We purchased two iPads from Rebelo two weeks ago. They were delivered within 48 hours in professional packaging and were better condition and cheaper.

"Phonebot have been misleading and deceptive"

Phonebot have been misleading and deceptive in my interactions with them to resolve a potentially intentional 'bait and switch' tactic.

I ordered a phone from them via their online store and received a different (lower model) phone, of a lower value. I can't say for sure that it was intentional, however interactions since then have made me suspect it was.

When I realised, I advised them of the issue and was requested to return the phone to them so they could 'assess' it, and send the correct phone. They advised in writing that they would do this within 24-48 hours of receipt of the phone. I highlighted the importance of a rapid turn-around as the phone was a safety requirement for my son.

Now, 9 days after they received it, I am yet to receive a replacement and have been asked to pay an additional cost for an upgraded phone, as they are unable to provide the phone I ordered. I have been in contact with a number of different people both via email and on the phone, leading me to believe this is not an isolated issue, and that poor customer service is in fact systemic to the company.

I have received no response to the previous 4 emails, and no commitment to either send the phone or a refund. At this stage it appears they have stolen the funds with no intention of sending the correct phone.

I cannot recommend them and will be formally reporting the company to the ACCC this evening.

I received a message and phone call from phonebot minutes after posting this. It appears a product will be sent once my additional payment has cleared (despite sending a screenshot of the transaction as requested).

I'll leave the rest of this here as record of my bad experience, however I can report phonebot eventually sent me a phone in satisfactory condition. They wouldn't tell me what they had sent until the day it arrived, the process from order to resolution took about 9 weeks, 20+ emails, half a dozen phone calls and 3 online reviews, and I still had to pay an additional charge to get 'upgraded' to a phone they actually had in stock. It's still some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but they have resolved it.
