I’ve been using the BoilerPro side of the Just Fix business for many years now, largely for my annual boiler servicing and maintenance but occasionally for the odd trade skilled job beyond my abilities. Our most recent service was performed once again by Shane who has been with us for a few years now. Very friendly and extremely professional. I shall be using them again and no doubt again.

"Improving ... Be careful of the call out fee"

Review updated after I received the refund and an apology for the way things happened. I am hopeful they will improve their process after this mess.
To obtain it I had to complain by phone, email and on trustpilot ...

Their process must change, they need to have an actual deposit for the call out fee instead of just taking your card details and charging you without any formal notification.

They also need their plumber or others to actually see the pictures of the work to be carried out before they show up to avoid such situations happening to someone else.

Be careful as they do charge a call out fee (108£ in my case) to send you a plumber that did not even check the attached picture before and came in the house for 5 minutes just to look at the exact same things and say it needs a proper quote (and a tiller at the same time).

In the end I did the job myself, a concealed valve shower replacement and it cost me 50£ in materials and 3h of work (I never did any plumber work before...) got no leaks and a perfectly functional new shower valve and shower head.

Have a look at the quote they wanted to charge me for this job on top of the call out fee:

Costs for Remedial Works:
Labour: £435 + VAT
Materials: £330 + VAT (not including the new valve i bought before myself)
Sundries: £60 + VAT
