My HEATER CEILING EXPLODED (Far Infrared Heater "Thermo Glass MAX" - 1200W) and shattered melted glass directly above where people sit. Thank god no one was sat underneath. This heater was faulty as the thermal cut out did not work. It is being sent to the electrical safety council for testing to find out if it did have a cut out or there wasn't even one fitted. The company immediately refunded me the cost of the heater but refused to ap the costs I incurred for the damages, which was over £600 for an electrician and to replace the burned carpet. Neither the company or manufacturer will re-imburse me which i find disgusting. Be very careful buying from this company.

Safety notice: if you have any thermoglass panels from this company, I urge you to remove them as they explode.
I bought heating panels for every room in my flat in October 2022 and had them installed over the next weeks; they were a mix of ceramic panels and thermoglass ceiling panels, branded PION and with a CE mark.
All fine until one of the 900w thermoglass ones exploded in mid November 2023. Yes, a glass ceiling panel above my head shattered. I emailed the company and sent photos. I asked specifically "Please could you let me know if this has ever happened before as I am really shaken up. I obviously will need a replacement, but need to know that nothing like this will ever happen again". They did not say, although I can see from another review now posted here that it had happened before and they knew this perfectly well and had not withdrawn the product. Instead they sent a replacement, which was a c1000w thermoglass.
At the end of November another of the 900w glass panels exploded above my head. I asked for a refund of these two. They argued that it was not their policy blah blah blah but, after a rude argument , eventually issued a refund for the two. At this point, I was too scared to use the heating if people came round, in case it injured them or killed a baby. I was also scared to programme it to come on when I wasn't there or awake.
Then , on 24 Feb 2024 the replacement they had sent me in November exploded, showering me and my cats in broken glass (and scratching my brand new floor).
Their response to this has been an utter disgrace. I demanded a full refund of everything I had paid because I now -based on the evidence of three glass panels exploding above me and showering glass down - understood the products to be unsafe and do not believe the CE mark could be genuine if two different products did this. I have been fobbed off with delays and ridiculous "kind offers" such as av credit note to spend on any of their products or a partial refund. Now they want me to buy packaging and courier the used items back, after paying my electrician to remove them. Over a month later, I am still waiting for my money back.
I don't appreciate being forced to take legal action to recoup my money, but I have no other option now as the company owner Dale Rose is not forthcoming on this and is deliberately putting obstacles in my way.
However, I am certain that no judge would look favourably on the photos of potentially lethal appliances after exploding and my sitting room covered in a shower of broken glass. I know that trading standards moved very fast when I alerted them to the sale of this dangerous product. Aside from my issue, I am disgusted that they have not done a product recall.
Thankfully what happened to me caused no lasting injury, although I developed eczema from the stress in February. Thankfully also I did not install the one thermoglass one I had bought for the bathroom. It makes me nauseous to think what could have happened and very upset that some people may have done so, completely unaware of the potential danger. Only a wholly irresponsible company would not immediately alert all customers who had bought these products and do a product recall.

I am more than happy to recommend the Infrared company to anyone considering making a purchase.
The products which I purchased i.e. Rose Far-Infrared No Glow heaters, are very effective and very good value for money.
I have already placed a second order and on both occasions, the goods were delivered very promptly i.e. the next day.

Good advice received from the company and heaters ordered arrived as scheduled within two days of order. One of the heaters was faulty but a replacement was sent right away.

There was an error on their system and my order wasn't dispatched until I contact the 1 week later, and and it took days to for them to get back at me. I tried to cancel it, as it took to long to arrive, and I didn't need the heater anymore, but they send it anyway. I had to pay for return postage and it costed me £70 to have nothing.
NEVER AGAIN.
