"Minder didn't attend the meet and greet"
My pet minder didn't show up for the meet and greet (which I arranged to have at my house). Obviously, that meant the minding didn't go ahead either. Pet Cloud has so far ignored my requests for a refund.
UPDATE, 25/2/19:
I reached out to Pet Cloud via Facebook 3 days after my initial email request for a refund. At first, I received automated messages. When I sent a link to the ACCC, I suddenly got a response from a person asking me to send an email to them, as well as link the sitter so they can deactivate the listing. I responded that I'd rather just have a refund.
Here's the rest of our conversation:
Them: "I'm a real person. Did you know that? I answered your query at 10.30pm AT NIGHT. You then posted a 1 STAR REVIEW. Remove your review. I have gone out of my way to help you. In your email to [NAME] in Accounts also request that the Sitters listing be removed and state she didnt show up. We PARTNER with Sitters we dont CONTROL them. You are damaging our businesses reputation and we do NOT deserve this"
Me: "Hi, I hope you're having a good day. Your customers are "real people" too. Until I sent through a link to the ACCC, my "query" only received automated messages, which implies that you only care about your business and not your customers. My initial request for a refund was sent on the 21st and was ignored, which implies the same. Providing unreliable products/services results in negative reviews. It's not personal. It happens in business, particularly when things go wrong and aren't fixed satisfactorily and in a reasonable amount of time, which is the case here."
Them: "Dont shoot the middleman. We have tried to provide you with good service and you have failed to acknowledge that. Do NOT use our platform again. As mentioned we will be refunding you ASAP."
Me: "I have no intention of using your platform again. And that's the first mention of a refund being issued."
Them: "Good! Go! Go! [thumbs up]"

I received an abusive phone call from someone at Pet Cloud using a private number, a few days after my review.

"I am also waiting now for over a week…"
I am also waiting now for over a week to get a response about a discount I can apply to the my booking. I emailed three times no response and called 5 times. On two times I was lucky enough to have a person answering the phone but then they couldn't help me and said they sending a message to the accounting department if that even exist is questionable.
The website is an absolute joke too as it is not working properly.
I am really thinking if I ever use this website again. I just feel sorry for the sitters as they seam to be very nice and reliable.

"Poor website"
Poorly built website, difficult to navigate and use. Constant alerts for things that aren't relevant to me based on the profile that I set up. Was unable to communicate with the pet owner without hitting Apply, so there was no opportunity to ask questions before committing to the job.
