"Cancelled my boiler installation last minute due to staff sickness"
Booked them for Jan 26th 2024 at 8am. A friend took the day off work to wait in for them. They rang at 8.05 am to cancel, saying the engineer had phoned in sick. A day of holiday wasted, and so far, no compensation offered. I will update this review once the work is completed on Fri 2nd Feb at 8am.

We contacted HUG and Sarah was very helpful in providing quotes and details. We had no working boiler, in January, and she was very quick to help. The engineers, Dan and Andy, were great. They were happy to explain how things would work and made sure everything was working properly before leaving the property. Dan contacted me a few days later to make sure all was well.

I'm very pleased with my new boiler installation. Jason did a good job and commucated well with me and answered all my questions. The 2 engineers that came to install the boiler and the vertical flue were friendly, helpful, and competent. The price is very competitive for a quality boiler. Overall, I'm happy.

"Boiler quote and install"
We spoke to Jason at Hug Boilers as our old boiler was on it's last legs. We chose the Worcester Bosch 4000 30Kw unit and a date was agreed for installing the boiler. The engineer arrived on time and was very professional and very polite. He worked through the day until the job was complete and all the associated mess was cleaned away. He explained fully the workings of the new unit and the thermostat controls so we were fully competent with it when he left. Overall it has been an excellent experience right back to when we were first quoted up until the installation date yesterday.

The engineer who visited to give me the initial quotation was so knowledgeable about the different products that I knew I’d chosen the right brand.
All of the information was then sent to the installation guy so it all went so easily.
Both were friendly courteous and a benefit to your company.

"A very efficient experience"
Our old Ideal boiler had developed faults and, being nine years old, we decided on getting a new boiler rather than risk more faults developing on the old one.
To assess our requirements John visited and spent a great deal of time talking through our requirements and checking the current system. The price quoted for a new Viessmann boiler was acceptable. John also responded quickly when we had further questions about our old Halo controller and a Nest alternative.
On ordering we were given a date for one week later which was great for us as it meant we’d have the new boiler in before Christmas.
On the day of installation we were a little surprised that it was only one person doing the job but we were greatly impressed with the work that Tom did which included fitting the heat link for the new Nest controller.
