"Think before you give a deposit"

The company took a deposit from me for a potential business purchase. the deal did not go through and I am now chasing them to give my deposit back for over 5 weeks. First there was no response for three weeks and then Collete said the finance wants my bank details to ensure there was no AML. It has been two weeks and there is no news of my money. I only get a standard response that the money will be done once AML check is done. Surprisingly no AML check was done when they were receiving the money from me. It CANNOT take so long to check this anyways. I have written on multiple ids but no response.

A very professional company who provided a first class service. In particular our account manager Katie was excellent. Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Although we didn't end up selling our business, this was in no way a reflection on Katie and Intelligent it was purely our decision to take our business off the market.
I would have no hesitation in recommending intelligent and Katie to any prospective client and would definitely use them again if our circumstances change in the future.

Although I am not selling or buying a business these 2 people have gone above and beyond to help my query. They found the information and time in their busy business. I would use these if I ever want to sell my business or buy another.

The thing that has surprised me is the personal support I've had throughout the process, from Matt helping me with valuing my business and being on the end of numerous calls, through Emma helping me with the listing, and to my account manager Sophia who has been a great help to me understanding the process and handling enquiries. It's a lot more than I expected and has made what is a tricky process much more comfortable.
