"Misleading Pricing, Cold Coffee & Zero Accountability – A Complete Letdown"

We ordered a Jura coffee machine from Vending Sense for our fitness studio and this has honestly been one of the most frustrating, disappointing business decisions we’ve ever made.

First, the machine arrived three weeks late and damaged, with a broken payment dongle. While it technically still functions, we were promised a replacement which still hasn’t materialised months later.

From day one, the coffee has been far too cold, barely reaching 52°C. When we raised this, the first engineer said the temperature “wasn’t their responsibility once it hit the cup.” We later found out this was completely false – their own service manager confirmed that the expected cup temperature should be between 60–64°C. So not only is the product faulty, but we were also clearly misled by their staff.

But that’s not all. The pricing has been incredibly dishonest. We were quoted one price via email, but once we signed the agreement, we were hit with hidden costs we were never made aware of:

Setup fees that were never mentioned
An insurance charge quietly added to the £106/month
No transparency or explanation around the final figures
We’ve raised all of these issues multiple times and had several engineer visits – but nothing has been resolved. Communication has been poor, there’s been no urgency, and no effort to make things right. No apology, no compensation, no proper resolution.

We’ve been left with a cold-drink machine, unexpected charges, and a complete lack of support. As a business serving members daily, this reflects badly on us, and we deeply regret trusting Vending Sense.

Avoid them at all costs. The product is unreliable, the pricing is misleading, and the customer service is honestly the worst we’ve dealt with.

"From start to finish Mitchell and Joe…"

From start to finish Mitchell and Joe have advised supported and worked with us moving machines to new locations. Cleaning them so they look brand new and installing a new machine. I can't thank them enough for all they have done insuring that we have two working coffee machines on day one in our new office.

"Avoid this company loads of hidden…"

Avoid this company loads of hidden costs! The maintenance charge is a joke £80+ a month on top of the of the monthly rental, then each time a new filter is fitted we received a invoice for £290 not once has anyone been out to actually maintain the machine in 3 years! Now the contract has finished they want £490 to take the machine back! It’s a ripoff STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

"Contract confusion and poor customer service"

We have been a long term customer of Liquidline and initially received good customer service for our office contract. So much so that we took out a second contract for a retail location. Sadly the retail location closed down and we had to terminate the contact early. This is when the issues began, we asked to settle the contact with the finance company, who then cancelled the office contract rather than the retail contract. We have since been going back and forth for 11 months to try and settle both contracts whilst being hit with multiple charges that are not relevant to our site. Vending sense are not willing to collect the machines until all accounts have been settled but can't seem to get the right terms for the right contract in place. I have wasted so much time emailing and just seem to be sent around in circles without the account manager taking any ownership or accountability.

"Unfortunately the delivery was very…"

Unfortunately the delivery was very delayed and no one updated us, unless we chased them. Even when we did receive it, we was missing parts of the order. They did apologise about the delay, but it took a while to receive replacement products.

However the products themselves are really nice, the hot chocolate is creamy and chocolatey. Not watery like some can be. The syrups are also nice and full of flavour.

"Responsive and Helpful "

Vending Sense were responsive to all our queries and issues. When the engineer came to install our machine, the consumables had not arrived, but the engineer went and bought us coffee beans and milk to get us by and to be able to fully install the machine. He was demonstrative and explained how to use the machine very well. Would 100% recommend and has made our office staff very happy!
