la faccio breve.
parto per un viaggio in cambogia e vietnam, scendo a bangkok con l'aereo e li scopro che il mio bagaglio è stato smarrito. Purtroppo avendo un transfer per la cambogia entro un'ora dall'atterraggio, non ho modo di fare acquisti di prima necessità in thailandia. Una volta arrivata in cambogia acquisto alcune magliette, pantaloni e altri beni di prima necessità in negozi che, neanche chiedendola, rilasciano alcuna fattura o ricevuta o possibilità di pagamento con bancomat.
oltre a questo, devo pagarmi un taxi per raggiungere l'aeroporto di siem reap dove mi hanno consegnato il bagaglio smarrito dopo 25h, ovviamente senza alcuna ricevuta e potendo pagare solo in contanti.
morale della storia? vogliono pezze giustificative che non si potevano ottenere, per 50 euro che ho speso non sentono giustificazioni né capiscono le difficoltà a cui sono andata incontro.
mi rimane solo da recensire la mia esperienza con questa assicurazione che mi sento di sconsigliare ad altri viaggiatori.

A few years ago I had an accident while abroad over Christmas and Columbus were amazing!!!
From paying for my treatment to arranging extra seats on the flight home and having a taxi meet me at the airport, everything was sorted easily and made what could have been a very stressful situation very smooth.
They say you don't know how good an insurance company is until you need to claim and Columbus were fantastic!!
I've renewed every year with Columbus ever since.
