I've been a customer for over 5 years. The service and order fulfillment has been in a steady decline for the past two years. Simple orders, will sit for days before being shipped. I have had conversations with Cory, the owner, and several managers about the decline in service, nothing has changed. If you have a time sensitive need, there are other companies that guarantee shipping same day or next day depending on the time the order was placed. Not Composite Envisions.

The "Certificate of Conformance" and the charge for it, seriously? No other supplier I use charges for that! What they are charging now for materials is insane! I only use CE now for certain materials that I will never use a roll for. I buy carbon direct from the manufacturer now and the markup at CE is incredible!

We did a special project with the Blue Reflections Carbon that faded after two weeks of UV exposure. I was told by another supplier that they refused to sell any of the colors of Reflections (except Red) because of the fading issue. According to the other supplier, the manufacturer was aware and chose to do nothing about it. CE was warned about this issue and I worked with them on finding the cause while I patiently waited for thier independent testing to be completed. CE's solution to avoid fading was the EXACT method and materials I used and they washed thier hands of the problem. Meanwhile I lost thousands of dollars in materials and labor because the fabric faded.

It really pains me to write this, I was a huge proponent for CE in the past. I do not recommend them anymore. I will still buy a few items that I can't get anywhere else, but I have moved on to more reputable companies that charge a fair price on materials and ship in a more timely manner.
