"A very relaxed and impressive part exchange experience "

I have dealt with a large number of main dealers and smaller independents over the years, and Riviera have been amongst the best. Luca was communicative, prompt and professional, and the whole experience of buying a Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo was incredibly relaxed and hassle-free. The car arrived in immaculate condition, exactly as described - we each trusted the other in a part exchange, with neither party having seen the other’s car, and doing business in good faith in this way is a breath of fresh air. I couldn’t be more impressed, and recommend Luca/Riviera.

"Vehicle issues"

I’m contacting you regarding the vehicle I purchased from your company Riviera Automotive LTD on December 2023. The vehicle in question is an Audi S5 reg: LM20OVH.

I’ve been highly disappointed and ashamed by the treatment I’ve received, from the company as I’ve been missold and neglected. Prior to the delivery of my vehicle I was assured that scratches and marks that were presents would be rectified prior to the arrival. However, neither the marks were sorted, on top the person whom delivered the vehicle also cracked the windscreen. In addition, further faults have occurred in the vehicle as the SOS button being broken, as well their being an issue with the sunroof as it doesn’t not function correctly. Even the logbook was transferred with the incorrect individual as the registered keeper.

Since my purchase of the vehicle, I’ve had nothing but stress and anxiety, whenever I’ve aimed to contact this company for help and support. Ive been ignored. I asked management if i should get a quote from Audi in order to get the faults of the vehicle corrected as i am quite distant to the dealership, which I’ve done and sent to your company but even then I’ve been ignored. I’ve been mis sold a warranty which I was assured was 6 months, currently revelations have shown it to only be 3 months.

All these issues with the vehicle, were noticed by me in the first day of ownership. It’s newly Easter and I’m still being taken for a fool, which is highly disrespectful and disgusting. A reputable company does not treat their consumers in this manner.

My hand has been forced by your company as there is no resolve, I will be taking this matter to Trading Standards and the Motor Ombudsman service as this matter is far beyond reasonable.

My request to resolve the matter, is a full refund of the £34,500 I paid, and cancellation of the car. I will also be expecting compensation for the insurance I’ve paid and the 4 brand new tires. had to purchase, as the supply tires were not road worthy.

I expect a response from you in 3 working days before I contact the legal team as due to my rights I’m still in the 6 months of initial purchase and the consumers right act is clear on these matters. I have evidence in writing from your company in order for the things i’ve just mentioned above.

"Avoid them"

I part exchanged a Range Rover Vogue for a newer one with Riviera Automotive on the
28th of October 2023. I was assured that the Range Rover they were selling me was in perfect condition. We swapped cars, I was driving down when the engine light came on suddenly, and after a while to my horror, one of the tyres blew out, and I had to pull on the hard shoulder to change it. The police could easily have charged me and given me a point for driving with illegal tyres. The next day I called Riviera. He told me to take the car to a garage and they would cover the cost of replacing the tyre and finding out what was wrong with the engine.
(What a joke!)
Anyway, there was a problem with the NOx sensor and Riviera sent me one after a while, but it was such a cheap make the garage would not accept it so I ended up buying one myself.
To cut the story short I had to change the tyres myself and with the NOx sensor I paid £1500 which I am still waiting to get paid for and it is March 2024 already.
Avoid them at all cost!!!

The car I purchased was exactly as described, in top condition, which is always a relief when making such an important investment. "Overall a very good experience"

Overall a very good experience. Riviera Automotive reserved the car for me for over a month whilst funds were made available. Sales rep. Luca Stratford was very helpful and professional throughout. Not the cheapest but the overall package including the service was good value. Recommended.
