This company gouge you as a customer at every opportunity. I have multiple examples of fees being applied across the board with no customer loyalty or decency applied. The application of the excess of 1500 per incident is also very average. Beware. Would not recommend to another customer/client.

This company is a total fraud. I experience three incidents with them and they refuse to give me the things which they promised when I got the car. They want you to see their terms and condition every day. They update the terms and condition and they don’t tell you that and when you get back to them, they will say please read about terms and condition.

"Splend overcharges using admin…"
Splend overcharges using admin processing fee for tolls $25 dollar. On day 1 when I took the car, I informed the staff that I could not add my etoll account to the car because of previous owner who has failed to remove his account. Every week, I wrote to them and said that I could not add. After six weeks, I manage to add after numerous emails and the toll fines department still charges the admin processing fees of close to $140. When I raised a dispute with all the emails evidence, they said that it is my fault. Is there anyone with Splend, faces the same issue in term of overcharging? I tried to remove my bank account but they said no. I have escalated to many staff in Splend but left unresolved
2. Dated 23 July, i still copied to everything that the etag cannot be added with screen shot evidence saying that it was still tagged to the previous owner. I also spoke to Bryan.
3. On 02 Aug, i queried about the additional charge with no response at all. In that email, i also informed everyone that i finally added my etoll account to the SPL58K. The date which i added was on 29 July 2024.
4. You jolly well know on day 1 when i took the car, i told bryan and also have emails evidences that i could not add my etoll to this car. From day 1, my etag already affixed to the car.
5. Since you already know when my problem.is resolved and know jolly well that it is no fault of mine, you blatantly said that it is my fault, for failure to add my etoll account to the car!!
6. I just called in and spoke to paul just now to raise a dispute for unfair admin fee charged to me last wed. I do not agree that i should pay any toll admin fee till 29 July 2024. I also told him that this vehicle has so many unpaid tolls with other tolls providers from previous owners. Are you trying to pass onto me??
7. I tried to remove my payment details from splend but it does not allow me to do so. Tomorrow i will go to the bank and raised an official dispute against splend for overcharging. I will ask the bank to freeze all direct debit from splend. Failure to do so, i just close this bank account.
8. Lastly i will escalate this overcharging issue to NSW fair trading and ombudsman since i tried all means to resolve the issue but failed.. I will also post on social media to see if Splend also done the same thing of overcharging to others, besides me.
