Our website has been hosted by Web Hosting Canada for some time now, and I was thrilled when they added the Pro Services department, a vital service to help us keep our website running smoothly. I am having a great experience working with Claire though Web Hosting Canada's Pro Services. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

"Lost files, no backup for 1.5 years - After paying for it!"

I am a premium user of web hosting canada who pays close to $170 for hosting my ecommerce site. My monthly invoice says it have 50 Gb external backups. With proactive management etc.

Our website is down for 8 days as of today due to some malware issues(possibly - not sure). The support says the last backup they have is from 2023! I dont know it is the files or the customer data, product subscription data also.

The only support i get is via a ticket. it is being worked on by tier 3 reps but i can not talk to them on phone or email.

The support just write a very irresponsible, namesake comment on ticket. Most times they just close the ticket without checking any resolution is provided.

Issues still going on...

"si vous voulez vraiment des problèmes…"

si vous voulez vraiment des problèmes de serveur c'est la place idéale. Ils font des erreurs assez régulièrement et le staff je pense apprenne sur le tas donc et les délais sont vraiment long pour qu'ils puissent trouver une piste de solution et leur chat en ligne oublier ça je l'ai utiliser.... Vraiment une firme à éviter...

"No self-service DNSSEC toggle"

No way to enable or disable DNSSEC yourself. I managed over 60 domains and I'm not going to contact support every time I transfer or set up a new domain. Tier one support is fast but once an issue is escalated, get ready to wait.

Update: Appreciate the reply but I've been told twice by WHC support that the DNSSEC setting isn't available via self-service. Turned out it is, albeit via a separate, very dated and user-unfriendly portal. Wouldn't be very hard to put a link in your current client area that links and automatically logs into to this old client area, that's the least that should be done. DNSSEC is an important security feature. The inability to self-manage DNSSEC is a significant limitation for anyone that manages a large number of domains.

"Entreprise à éviter à tout prix! "

Entreprise à éviter à tout prix si vous avez une agence avec plusieurs sites. J'ai un serveur dédié avec eux avec le plus haut niveau de support et ça fait plus de 72 heures que le problème n'est pas réglé et le support est nullement réactif. Entreprise qui excelle dans le cheap et qui ne devrait pas attirer des entreprises sérieuses.
