"It’s a good app but a few edits would help"

It’s a good app in theory but misses key elements. For example, my kids can only see balances of each category (Save, Spend, Share) so to my son who is obsessed with saving, he has to “do the math” to see his balance. It should just have the option to display your total balance. It would help with other spendier kids to see “I have $1000 but I can only spend $200” so they actually learn that we don’t spend all that we earn.
A few other glitches too, our PIN#s didn’t work on the debit cards and I couldn’t fix from the app. We were on vacation and it was a weekend so it wasn’t an easy fix.
All in all, it is ok and it’s much cheaper than Greenlight.

"There's no way to get money off of a…"

There's no way to get money off of a spend card. Also, no way to set up weekly chores where the child gets to just do a chore on any day. It has to be on specific days. I asked if my feedback could be submitted for improvement ideas and they said no.

The app is easy to use & a convenient way to reward my children for the chores that they complete. It also helps to teach financial responsibility & the appreciation of working for wages earned.

I hate that on top of the charge you get at an ATM, busykid also charges an additional fee on top of that. Actually, anything you really do there is a fee....

The app works great. I can send funds when needed. The card can be used almost anywhere.

We love this card for my daughter. We have it set up to where she gets her allowance on certain days of the month. There is also a feature where you splits it into share and save and we love that because she has wanted to save up her money and this way she can put however much she wants in her save account. You can also put a certain amount on the card too, so that comes in handy, if your child has 100$ on their card and you only want them to spend 20.00 of that then you can go in and make it to where their only allowed to have that specific amount.

It is very easy to pay my children. One was away on a trip and needed more money, it was extremely handy to be able to add money to their card.

My 13 y.o. son is so motivated with this app. He loves having his own debit card and has even started saving for a car. I love that I don't have to fight with him and that I can input the chores that I want.
