I appreciate how BusyKids has encouraged my kids to take ownership of their earnings by making it their responsibility to track their chores and monitor their spending. I have two complaints though. It takes several hours for money to transfer to their accounts. If my child is out with friends and is short on money, it’s easy to send a “bonus” but she won’t get it for many hours, making it a useless feature in an emergency. I also wish that my kids could send me a request for pay for things that are not a daily chore. Ex. Occasionally my oldest babysits her siblings. She can’t add babysitting to her chore/pay list. I have to either add it as a daily chore for her to check when we do go out or send a bonus each time.
