"Expensive package rendered useless buyer beware "

I purchased HBXL’s software package in 2018 for £1,519, believing it included perpetual licenses. Recent server-side changes by HBXL have rendered my licenses unusable, despite their initial promise of indefinite access. HBXL acknowledged the issue but offered only expensive upgrade options, effectively forcing me to pay again for software I already bought.

If you’re considering HBXL, be cautious about their licensing practices. Alternatives like BuilderStorm, or Causeway Technologies may offer more transparent and reliable options.

We purchased HXBL a few months ago and have had nothing but a 10/10 since. From the software itself to the training and support provided by the team (Joe in particular!)
We currently use both the Plans and Estimator Express and are now looking to take on more of the packages provided by HXBL to better our business even further than it already has been through working with HXBL!

I have been using Estimator Express now for almost Twelve Months and I can honestly say that the product is excellent. As with any learning process, I have had many questions along the way and The technical support at HBXL are always able to assist and solve problems as and when they arrive, nothing is too much trouble. The software is head and shoulders above the previous software that I was using and I definitely think it has enhanced our business model, not just making the estimating more accurate but making sure that the estimates are professionally presented. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Estimator Express to anyone!
