"Pressurised sales pitch"
Made contact with this company after seeing that they were part of a window scrappage scheme. They booked a quotation within 48 hrs of me contacting them. Agent turned up on time and appeared very knowledgeable about the products and what was suitable for my property. However after an hour of his sales pitch I was bored. He contacted his boss 3 times during the appointment to get the total price reduced. For 4 windows and a door I found the price far too high. Rep was very keen to get me to sign contract but after an hour I had had enough. I asked for the quote to be sent to my email address and I would make a decision within 72 hours. I never received that email. Just found the whole experience intense and pushy. Old style selling and more about them making money. There was no real figure given as to how much reduction there was for the scrappage of old windows. Would not touch this company with a barge pole.

I had a full set of windows and porch fitted this week. Absolutely outstanding work from both Ben and Dave who completed the job promptly and to an exceptional standard. I was home on my own throughout and they made me feel comfortable, were friendly without being intrusive, and always courteous and polite. Needless to say, I would recommend this company without any hesitation; thank you!

"Sale tactics are a con, so even if the product is good, avoid like the plague"
Young lad came to my home today to quote. I wanted 12 windows and 3 doors. He's not even four weeks on the job so I had questions he couldn't answer due to inexperience. He should have had someone else with him in my view as while he was fine enough in himself he didn't know enough to be out alone yet.
Before we'd even started he was talking about an 'ambassadors discount' if we put a sign outside, telling me it is a good area, which it is. Only later did I see the con had been set up early.
Once he measured up and started doing the numbers he came in with £39k regular price. This was kindly held for 12 months or £27k though the exclusive ambassadors program but I had to say yes today. Which I wasn't going to do as I'm not silly. He then got on the phone to his 'manager' and suddenly the quote is down to 17k, again pushing for an agreement today. Another phone calls later and the quote can be held for a week so I can think on it, and 'what is the price she wants' was said. It's just a scam. I worry what this tactic would fool someone more vulnerable or trusting. I just wanted the lad out of my house at this point. Utter waste of time as I won't do business with companies like this.
I've since gotten two more quotes with no pointless games or fake deals and they are both unsurprisingly more in the range of the 17k 'manager special lies' Klic tried to pull. It is just a load of snake oil salesmanship.

"Salesman was manipulative"
Salesman was manipulative, using every trick in the book to try to sell. I am worried about more vulnerable they may approach. I was offered a quote valid for 12 months, when this was not immediately accepted an offer of 50% of this was made after "calling his manager" if agreed on the day. This gives no trust in the overall pricing structure and the value of the service offered.
