I don’t know how this company has any good reviews.i wouldn’t give them any stars if I could. From my experience it’s was awful from day one. The staff are cold and unsympathetic, the communication is poor. They tell you they will phone you and you might hear of them the following day if your lucky. You’re not told about all the hides extras that you have to pay for at the time of booking. It is stressful full enough arranging a funeral and this company just made the situation far worse. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!

"Stress free experience for a low cost."

Within 2 hours of my wife passing her body was collected by the undertaker. The following day I received a phone call from Memorial. From that day on ( apart from dealing with the register office ) Memorial took care of all arrangements.
It is a stressful time loosing someone, having a professional company understanding your requirements
at a low cost. Yes I am pleased I chose this company.

"Losing my Mum has been the hardest…"

Losing my Mum has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through. My Mum passed away on 23rd October 2024. Making the phone calls afterwards, are just as hard. Memoria right from the first phone call, to the last contact of delivering my mums ashes has been a very positive experience. They are calm, caring and take you through everything every step of the way. I had some complications with issues of Coroner's etc but they talked me through the process as did the Coroner's. Their communication with you is so good. There is no pushy sales teams, just someone talking through options. They are very reasonable on price as well. I had a few requests and they fulfilled them . Sue was my funeral arranger, and she was so helpful and kept me informed. My Mum wanted a simple cremation and what she called " a party" afterwards. This took place on 25th November and we got her ashes back in time for Christmas on the 18th December, along with a cutting of her hair and a fingerprint, this was so lovely as this is what we had asked for. This was perfect. I would highly recommend them.

"My Friend John Cawley "

My Friend John Cawley of over 30yrs passed away in the Royal Derby Hospital on the 15/12/24.he had no funeral plan and had previously told me that the council can cremate him but I found out that if the council did this there would be no return of the ashes.
On knowing this l looked on line for a simple though respectable cremation at a reasonable cost and I found low cost funerals and rang up and spoke to a woman called Sam Duffett who was friendly and helpful and explained the cremation procedure to me and kept me informed of of everything that was happening with regard to my late friend.
I would recommend low cost funerals to anyone looking for a respectful cremation service without the usual costs of a full funeral service which are expensive and family and friends can remember the deceased person in their own way.

"Christmas time funeral"

They made a bad time bearable and arranging a funeral so easy. Very helpful with my endless queries and were just great to deal with and communicated every step of the way.

It meant a lot being allowed the freedom to step outside the normal funeral boundaries by honouring Dad the way he wanted to be remembered, sticking his 2 fingers up to political correctness with the song choice.

It couldn’t have gone any better, the flowers were beautiful and the celebrant was the perfect fit for our family.
