"Professional and sympathetic "

Sue was very professional, efficient, sympathetic and kind throughout. The medical examiner caused a big delay. However, Sue was very good and managed to get them organised.
The lady I dealt with at Memoria's crematorium was absolutely wonderful. She was very kind and professional. Good staff in this line of work is essential and this company seems to have achieved this and more.
I would certainly recommend Memoria to handle funeral arrangements.

Saying Goodbye to our brother faraway in a foreign land.

We live in South Africa and my brother lived on a small holding near Diss. I was my brother's only surviving kin and when he died we did not know where to start to lay him to rest. Fortunately, he had said while alive that he wanted a Direct Cremation. We googled the term and the area and to our rescue came Kimberley Hardy of Memoria. She took us through the regulations step by step, even how to secure a death certificate. She was so patient and compassionate that we managed to go through all the procedures successfully. And so my brother's ashes are on the banks of the Waveney, close to the river that runs past his property. My brother was exceptionally musical and we like to think that he is at peace surrounded by birdsong. Our family could not have been treated with greater respect and decency despite the difficulties of filling in forms that did not accept our foreign zip codes and our ignorance of UK law. What was exceptional is how Kimberley was always in touch with us constantly to the extent that we felt her guiding hand 6000 miles away.

I have to say, having never been responsible for making funeral arrangements and at this stage going through our most difficult moments in life, Nicki dealt with the whole situation perfectly and ensured absolutely everything was as smooth as possible throughout. Sadly this is the second time i have had to use them in the last 18 months. Mum was in 2023, dad passed just before xmas. We had everything in place ready to go as before, & it made everything so much easier when it did happen. It was just a phone call & everything started to roll. It was one thing i didn't have to worry about, as there is so much to sort at this time. I knew dad would be handled with care & respect. Sam was kind & understanding & sorted all the final arrangements. The other members of the team were also very helpful. Dad is home now & i have been able to scatter his ashes with mum.
