"Ich habe im März eine große Bestellung…"

Ich habe im März eine große Bestellung aufgegeben. Leider war die dabei mitgelieferte selbstaufblasende Matte defekt. Ich habe den Defekt bei Outwell reklamiert und ein Ticket und eine Antwort erhalten: ich soll die Matte zerschneiden, davon ein Foto mailen und würde dann Ersatz erhalten. Das kam mir sehr komisch vor und ich habe mich rückversichert, dass ich tatsächlich das Produkt zerstören soll. Die Antwort war "Ja". Soweit wäre das kein Problem, aber ich muss die Entsorgung der defekten Matte selbst zahlen!!?? Die Matte ist 1,40m groß und wiegt knapp 9 kg!! Ich müsste diese zum Wertstoffhof bringen und dort für die Entsorgung zahlen. Outwell verweigert bis heute, mir einfach ein Retoure-Label zu senden,damit ich die Ware retournieren kann. Zudem läuft die Kommunikation nur extrem schleppend. Auf meine Mails wird teilweise erst 2-3 Wochen später geantwortet. Wir konnten die Matte aufgrund des defekten Ventils bisher noch nicht einmal ausprobieren. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht über dieses Verhalten. Man muss dazu sagen: Die Ware ist bereits bezahlt!!

Die Lieferung kam in sehr kurzer Zeit, die Ware war in einwandfreiem Zustand und entspricht exakt der Beschreibung.
Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder bestellen.

"Don't buy Outwell Escalon 5 tent"

I bought the Escalon 5 tent a couple of years ago and only used it for 4 short camping trips. It was a budget Outwell bought from go outdoors but what a load of rubbish. The first one I bought the zip broke and this was swiftly sorted by Go Outdoors replacing for a new one. The new one was fine for the first few trips as it didn't rain. I am currently sat in this tent or sive might be a better word for the Easter Holiday. Everything was soaked through last night so this is not a pleasurable experience. I had a cheap Coleman tent and it was 10 times better not leaking at all as are my OEX tents. I always wanted an Outwell as they used to be a cut above and a little out of my price range in my teens but this range are terrible. I can see an old school one from where I am sat and looks like it has 30 years left in it. I hate it when quality brands sell out like this. Either charge a premium and be a trustworthy quality brand or place yourself as a budget brand and compete in that marketplace. The issue is that I no longer trust this brand and won't buy another and I imagine the higher price items are still like they used to be.
