"Poor follow up to things going wrong. "

I received the wrong order, which can easily happen, but the way it has been handled has been a right pain. Contained in the order I received was the name, address, order details, shoe size etc of a woman from Newport and the shoes she was expecting. I am not sure this woman really wanted her details sent to me and I certainly didn’t appreciate my details being sent off to a random person which I imagine happened.
When I raised this mistake, it was easy to return the incorrect shoes, however instead of just sending out replacements to me so I could get what I wanted, the order was cancelled, a refund offered (still not received a week later) and the GDPR breach has been completely ignored despite me raising it three times in emails to customer service.

To be honest I’m really disappointed, I’m still about £120 out of pocket, I’ve not got my shoes and Clark’s just seem happy to send personal details to anyone it sees fit and not acknowledge that as an issue, let alone try to stop it happening again.

Thank you Clarks for the reply - I’m not sure how still having no money returned and no shoes is resolving the issue, I think you may have a different definition of resolved than that written in the Oxford English Dictionary. I also note that yet again you refuse to even mention the GDPR issue. Ladies, if you want random men knowing your name and address, shoe size, details of your order and knowing your taste in boots then feel free to order from Clark’s as they don’t care who they send your details to and they won’t even acknowledge it’s an issue.

Today my son Erikas got his feet measured by Joanne. She was very interactive with him which really helped because he can be quite shy. Today it al was no bother, Joanne knew exactly how to get along with him and she offered him some sweets that were in the shop. Of course that made him very happy. And we left the shop with two new lovely pairs of shoes, however, we never even planned on buying any in the first place haha

Excellent service, very professional and knew her stuff. She found him some with a wider toe part, and half a size bigger, that he found comfortable.

Visited Northampton and was served by Louis. He was very helpful and had soo much patience and gave us the time we needed to find school shoes after previous shoes from another shop had caused rubbing. He advised the shoes from Next were too narrow around the toes and went through several shoes to find the right fit, comfort and leather for everyday school shoes. Thank you!
