We normally go to the mainland due to Clarks Newport Isle of Wight not being helpful and we have had such bad experiences in the past with rude staff or staff not sure how to measure the shoes and for me to be asked do you think they fit well!! Today I thought why should I travel to the mainland with ferry prices being so expensive so we tried clarks which is down the road from us and the experience was great. We were served by a lady called Sam B and she was so helpful, chatty and happy, was great with my children, so we've had a good experience and saved on a ferry fare. We brought 5 pairs of shoes/wellies/ trainers and a school bag. Thanks to Sam we will be shopping at Newport IOW clarks in the future. My faith has been restored in the branch.
