I bought 4x Philips tube lights 24" to replace flickering ones in kitchen. Unfortunately they still flicker but it could be the 4x starters I bought from Toolstation? Purchase and delivery experience all ok.

Would have given no stars if I could. Wish I had checked before ordering. Lamps never arrived. Advised General Lamps to be given a tracking number. Contacted Royal Mail who thought could be a scam ?? the parcel is now missing. Contacted General Lamps to advise them regarding replacement or refund.
IT IS THERE RESPONSIBILITY by law.....No response at all. Reporting to credit card company. Will let them sort it.

As per my review below Royal Mail have NOT delivered the items. Ask them where they are not why they were late! Or is your response just to look like you are trying to help resolve the issue for Trust Pilot viewers?
The items were not received despite Royal Mail saying they had been delivered. Their proof of delivery is a picture of the inside of a delivery van.
Contacted General Lamps 4 times by phone & twice by e-mail - this is literally all they have to offer

Unfortunately it is out of our hands once the parcel leaves us and it is the couriers responsibility now, all we can do is give you a number to call 03452 661037.
I called this number & Its an automated service which tells me the parcel has been delivered.
Further advice is to contact the seller......

"Sneaked in generic instead of branded lightbulbs"
I ordered five Swan Halolux Ceram lightbulbs. The lightbulbs I received were generic bulbs, rather than made by Swan. General Lamps/lamps-on-line.com have now acknowledged that the items they sent me are not what I ordered, or what was described on their invoice. They have now explained that the lamps they sent me were, 'an unbranded equivalent to our Swan one'. They have offered to refund the cost if I return the items, but I have decided to avoid the hassle. I will, however, also avoid General Lamps in future. They advertised branded lightbulbs and sent generic ones. They also misrepresented the items in their invoice, presumably hoping I would not notice. These are not the actions of a reputable company.
