"Shaker style fully glazed internal door"

I bought a Shaker style fully glazed internal door from BSO. It's now fitted and looks great. The large tolerance for trimming was essential given the less than perfect Victorian door frame. I searched locally and online for a door with generous trimming tolerance and this was the best I could find.
The builder reckoned it was a good quality, good value door, and I'm pleased with the extra light it provides to both the kitchen and the hall and it's simple, modern style.
It was well wrapped to prevent damage and delivery was on the day as promised. The courier was pleasant and helpful.

"Ordered 32/1000 box profile roof sheets…"

Ordered 32/1000 box profile roof sheets at a very good price. Delivery was fast and efficient with which I was kept informed at regular intervals by email/txt as to when this would be. Delivery driver was very polite and helpful with the drop off. My experience from ordering to receiving the package was excellent. Would fully recommend

"Not without issue, but rectified quickly"

Ordered 6 sheets of 18mm structural hardwood ply and 3 sheets of 60mm Celotex - good prices and free delivery.

First delivery of ply didn't come off the lorry, it was soaking wet, very warped, and delaminating.

Reported the issue straight away to Hayley Farrell and after a bit of communication about the grade of product to ensue I was going to get what I ordered, she managed to arrange the re-delivery of ply in perfect condition a day later so not to delay my project too much.

Issue with the first order was unfortunate and shouldn't have been sent out in that state, but the manner in which a compny responds to and rectifies problems should not be overlooked; I appreciate the efforts Hayley made to address the issues.

Also worth a mention was the delivery driver from Arnold Laver, top bloke who obviously understands good customer service.

"Floor/shed support feet"

Trawled the web for shed support brackets.
Not only did this firm provide exactly what I needed that also delivered on time with no fuss.
The standard e mail regarding delivery using a 20T lorry and access could be an issue made mine giggle when my purchase turn up in a Fe Ex transit van.
Product was way cheaper than anywhere else and was suitably fit for purpose. Thankyou. Job well done

"What a disaster this order was"

What a disaster this order was, getting roof sheets delivered without wood etc! Asked for refund and response I've got is OK. Weekend without materials going to cost me more than materials, just go to local shop.

"Got there in the end"

After reading mixed reviews on some products taking weeks but being limited to where I could find the product I wanted with "reasonable shipping cost", I took the plunge.
Order acknowledgement was next day but it took a prod and more than a week (7 working days to be exact) to get confirmation that the items had been shipped (direct from the manufacturer, ie drop shipped, items not held in stock)
"Shortly" is used alot on emails rather than giving dates which made me anxious but to her credit, Hayley always came back to me extremely quickly.
It did take a further 2 days for DPD to deliver 1 of the part shipped boxes and another for the other to be delivered even though it was out for delivery the previous day (but this was obviously outside of Build4less' control)
One other thing that was confusing at checkout was adding VAT to the shipping after adding VAT to the products. Whilst I understand alot of trade use this site, maybe something similar to Screwfix site would be better to add or remove VAT from the whole price,items and shipping making it easier for general DIY users and Trades if VAT is needed or not.

It was a bumpy ride but got there in the end. I'd use them again but not on products I needed a quick turn around of products on.

Found Build4less after hours of trawling through other companies websites that added ridiculous amounts for delivery, over £250 for some of them, Build4less offered decent prices and a fair delivery cost of £80 for all of it, customer service provided was excellent as well, polite and quick to reply, will use them again in the future for sure. Deserve the 5 stars.

"Misleading photos"

I recently purchased some tanking membrane. The picture showed the membrane and adhesive; for the pair Build4lLess were competitively priced. When the product arrived, it was just the membrane. I complained and have been disappointed at Build4Less failure to acknowledge this image is misleading and their refusal to refund the difference had we chosen a more competitive supplier. The misleading photo has now been removed despite build4Less stating they were not responsible for the photo.

"Avoid!! At all costs!!!!!"

Avoid!!! Ordered some composite trim from this company. What a joke!
It was incorrect, so tried to swap it over, was like trying to get blood a stone.
Rude telephone people when you call up don’t even give a toss about your problem they just kept saying email us… so of course I had to in the end. When I did I was told that probably isn’t gonna work out for me?? Haha what?? Because they would be charging me a restock fee even though they could re-sell the trim & also the collection cost was more than the original price of product with delivery.
So basically I would owe them money to return the product.
Disgusting way to run a business, basically sell stuff & when customers want to return any of it, make it so extortionate that it’s not worth our while to do so.
So I would defo avoid buying from this sneaky, snidy company. You will only lose out on money when you do.
