Found the website when searching for material to put a new roof on our two sheds. We found everything we needed, it was easy to order, good price, delivery was very quick and delivery person was very helpful. Good communication from company throughout. No hesitation in using Build4less again in the future and thoroughly recommended

We ordered a sink from Build4Less which was absolutely stunning but sadly, we soon discovered that the unit was too large for our new kitchen. We reported this Build4Less shortly afterwards who agreed to collect it. However, there would be a £10 return fee (we're fine with that) but also a reduction in the original price of 20% as a "restock fee". We are consumers and not trade and therefore is unlawful. Despite stating this fact to Build4Less and advising that our statutory rights as consumers override their terms and conditions, to date they have refused to collect the sink and refund us the total amount we paid, less the return fee of £10. We have therefore reported Build4Less to trading standards who have advised that they will be raising this issue with Build4Less.
In addition, the companies "cooling-off" period on the website is stated to be only 7 days - also in contravention of the law. It should be 14 days.

Having just read your reply - your t&c’s remain unlawful and Trading Standards will explain this to you. My contract was with Build4Less and not your manufacturer.
When a consumer purchases a product via distance purchasing ie online, the company MUST accept the return during the ‘cooling-off’ period. That is the purpose of the cooling off period - it allows the consumer to cancel the contract for ANY REASON - and receive a full refund. It doesn’t matter if the product is faulty or not.
The consumer is entitled to a full refund.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
All consumers should avoid using this company as their practices are unlawful and despite being advised of the Consumer Rights Act and associated regulations, the company has refused to issue us with a full refund.

When searching the internet for prices of corragated roofing sheets I came across Build4less. Their website was easy to use and they were very competitive on price. The ordering process was very quick and all communication were very good.
Delivery was on time and all goods arrived in perfect condition. Would recommend and would use again.

"I ordered composite decking and…"

I ordered composite decking and accessories from this company and found the delivery charges very misleading (they state free delivery for orders over £600 - but apparently that's only for some brands!). I was charged £95 for delivery. The order arrived and the decking was fitted. I then found we were short of 5 decking end caps so went to order these - and they wanted to charge £26 for delivery of this tiny package - which I obviously would not pay (the items were 72p each). Bought the same item on eBay - free delivery

"Customer service is shocking"

Customer service is shocking, the company contacted me advising a certain amount of a product needs to be ordered and because I hadn’t ordered enough they asked if I required a refund, I asked for all of the order to be cancelled and refunded. they only cancel half the order and then charge £37.50 for a single fence post to be delivered. I was not given the opportunity to refuse delivery as it was dumped in my front garden. When I’ve tried ordering a single fence panel on other websites it’s not allowed me to place the order as I was not ordering the required amount hence no money was taken, Build4less have taken my money even though I had ordered less than the required amount. This company are scam artists
