Cornwall kitchen makeovers provided an excellent service from beginning to end. Phil cam out initially to measure up and give a quote. He was friendly and made helpful suggestions to improve the overall look of the kitchen once it was done. My fitter Andrew was also friendly and fitted all of my doors and two new cupboards in just 2 days with a minimum of fuss. Andrew was efficient and cleaned up after himself. He also made useful suggestions which improved the overall look. I couldn't be happier with the finished product.

"Good installation and happy with my kitchen, but issues with customer service "

Colin came to give the initial quote and was great. I didn’t feel I was being pushed into it, he gave a lot of information and pricing options. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to answer follow up questions by email. There was good advance communication the week before the job. The installation began on time at which point I was told it should take four days - mon to thur. The fitter Connor was great, really polite and friendly and helped with extra things to ensure a good finish. I was very happy with the quality and speed of his work, and would absolutely recommend him. Unfortunately the plumber didn’t come back on the Thursday to install the sink or gas hob. I was told he would come the Friday but he didn’t. I waited in and called the company twice - didn’t hear back till the afternoon that he wouldn’t be coming that day and they only had one plumber. I agreed to him coming at 7am Saturday on the understanding that he would definitely be done by 9:30 latest allowing me to go out. When the plumber arrived he said there was no way that I should have been advised 1.5 hours for this job. It ended up taking over six hours and after five I had to leave him in my house with my keys to lock up. This was really not ideal. I sent a polite email saying I was very happy with the job but due to the avoidable delays on their end would they consider a goodwill reduction in final price. I received an annoyed call the next week from Matt who runs the Harpenden branch telling me that ‘jobs take as long as they take, I should count myself lucky the plumber came on Saturday, and that in the grand scheme of things my time didn’t matter, no one ever complains. If I’d gone to Wren or Magnet I would have been waiting longer.’

After 10 minutes of this barely getting a word in I had to put the phone down. I spoke to head office about it, but the response was he wouldn’t have meant to come across that way. Unfortunately soured what was otherwise a really good experience.

Based on Anglesey, we were happy with the quality and choices of the doors, the fitting and especially Jamie, who made the whole process run smoothly. His customer service was outstanding. He replied to messages quickly and sorted out changes/adjustments/ minor problems promptly and politely. He kept us up to date with delivery and fitting times and came out to check the finished work. We love our new-look kitchen. Thank-you!

"Kitchen Makeovers excellent "

The team listened to my brief and understood what I needed from my kitchen makeover. The kitchen fitter was excellent, respectful and worked extremely hard, as did the electricians when installing my new cooker, as I needed a cable upgrade which could have been tricky. The styles and colours of the doors and handles are vast and all good quality. Highly recommend.

From start to finish absolutely great experience, planning, time schedule, workman ship, quality, fitters, all brilliant, and the end result was superb, should have done it years ago, the kitchen is always the biggest upheaval and we dreaded it, but we shouldn’t have, everything went well, better than we expected.
