"Ik heb een fatbike bij SEA'SONS via…"
Ik heb een fatbike bij SEA'SONS via bol.com gekocht, Bestelnr. 1625603440. Na 2 dagen was er geen trapondersteuning meer, ik was niet tevreden over deze fiets en wilde het terugsturen. Ik heb deze verkoper op 5-september benaderd via bol.com en retour aangevraagd, maar die wil mij niet helpen. Deze verkoper is niet telefonisch bereikbaar, alleen berichten via whatsapp, maar de verkoper geeft geen antwoord op de vraag hoe ik deze fatbike kan terugsturen, de verkoper bezorgde de fatbike binnen 2 dagen, maar retourneren is onmogelijk. De fatbike geeft nu ook een foutmelding sinds 10dagen.

I don’t recommend Sea’sons if you’re not sure about fit or size. Now I understand how their customers don’t get a chance for a refund. They refused my item back even I followed exactly their return instructions.
Not only I have lost my refund, I also had to pay an international courier.
Useless customer service just replying by default that they can’t do anything and about sun shining somewhere, easy…

"Enttäuschend - warten auf Rückerstattung"
Ich habe eine Badehose und einen bikini bestellt. Soweit alles okey.
Der Bikini passte überhaupt nicht und ging zurück. Die Badehose ist okey und der Farbwechsel funktioniert und ist witzig, aber die Standardfarbe ist fleckig und nicht sonderlich hübsch. Seither warte ich auf die Rückerstattung meiner Rücksendung. Unzählige Male kontaktiert und ich werde immer wieder vertröstet. Beim letzten Male hiess es dass es jetzt erledigt wird. Doch noch immer warte ich auf mein Geld. Ich würde nicht mehr bestellen.

Suspect they have closed and reopened selling different models under a different name!

They do not provide refunds for returned orders. A month has passed since this company received the return of the goods. But they do not return the amount of 215 €. They block the mailbox, it is impossible to send messages to them. I do not recommend!

Dramatische klantenservice waarbij je lekker korte antwoorden krijgt als je een probleem probeert op te lossen. Retouren of omruilen kan met geen mogelijkheid en meedenken ho maar. Iemand nog een zwembroek nodig?

I Ordered a XL and got sent an M, so it wont fit. On two requests i was told that i can't return a sales item. It was not my fault and i am very sad that they wont help at all with my problem. So custumer service is terrible.

Na 2 weken werkt het verkleuren van de zwembroek niet meer. Contact opgenomen met de klantenservice en die gaven aan dat de zwembroek niet in de zon mag opdrogen. Netjes een nieuwe zwembroek opgestuurd gekregen, maar helaas wederom na 2 weken geen verkleuring meer en zitten we met hele lichte zwembroek.
Klantenservice geeft aan niks meer te kunnen betekenen omdat we al een nieuwe opgestuurd hebben gekregen. Daar is de zwembroek toch echt te duur voor.

"UK Shoppers BEWARE: Misconducted & Untrustworthy"
Do not shop here. The items may be exciting but they conduct business unfairly and customer service is a joke. I reported SEA’SONS to Citizens Advice Consumer Service, who in turn advised me to report my experience to HMRC and the UKICC too.
They operate by DAP (Delivered At Place), meaning the buyer is responsible for the unloading of goods (import VAT, customs charge etc). At no point in the checkout process is this made clear to the customer, so I had an £55.04 customs charge sprung on me by Royal Mail, not the ‘Free Delivery’ you are led to believe. Customs charges can be expected post-brexit, but the lack of transparency on the SEA’SONS website is a misconduct.
Note about EU imports to UK:
For goods up to £135, sellers should charge and collect VAT at the point of sale on behalf of HMRC.
For goods exceeding £135, sellers do not deal with VAT, and import charges are collected at the point of import (it becomes the customers responsibility).
My goods did not exceed £135.00 GBP so, according to UK regulations, it should have been exempt from customs charges altogether. I asked how much they declared the goods to be but I was ignored. There is also a lack on information about their VAT calculation in the invoice. They avoided dealing with HMRC, so take from that information what you will…
I was very clear about all of this with them in hope to resolve the issue together (getting an authority involved is long-winded for everyone). But every time I emailed, they ignored what I said, missed the point and failed to reply to any of my direct questions. They just said ‘we cannot reimburse that’. I highlighted the incorrect customs charge they incurred, but they did not respond. Either they don't understand or are not prepared to deal with it.
I also asked multiple times to be connected with a manager, someone who understands, or even someone who seems to care, and was ignored every time. The only time the agent, Gijs, stopped their robotic replies, they claimed to be relaying what their manager told them to say. After ten emails back and forth, none of my queries have been responded to and all I’ve received is ‘have a nice day’.
As far as I’m aware, they are not concerned with operating their online shop correctly in the UK. The customer service is awful - lack of empathy, lack of understanding, lack of response, the agent doesn’t listen to what you say and anyone significant in the company is impossible to reach.
I’ve returned the items so will expect a full refund, but I don’t trust them so have preemptively flagged it with PayPal.
All in all, it is a disappointing experience and a waste of time, money and energy. I personally sense something slimy around the VAT/import issue, seeing as they were so avoidant of my enquiries, and the customer service is either incapable or unwilling to engage with the customer. My advice is to keep a paper trail and don’t let an idiotic company ruin your day.
