"Circumcision with Dr. Hussain Alnajjar"

I was referred to Doctor Hussain Alnajjar following reoccurring episode of balanoposthitis. Upon examination, Dr. Alnajjar also diagnosed lichen sclerosus and we decided together to perform a circumcision to get rid of these problems permanently. Dr. Alnajjar was very clear in his explanations as well as reassuring, and the surgery was planned quickly after the initial consultation thanks to his efficient administrative team. The surgery went very well and wasn't painful at all. Dr. Alnajjar was available right after the circumcision to explain all the after-care needed and was available for any questions during my recovery process which was smooth and without any problems. He made sure to check in with me after the surgery to ensure everything healed well. Nearly 4 months after surgery, I am very happy with the results and couldn't have had a better experience. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hussain Alnajjar and his team for their skills, benevolence and professionalism.

his support and concern goes above and beyond - i am very happy with Mr Aftab, his Admin team and also his colleagues that i have been referred to and currently under the care of at Spinal Complex (LIPS). "MR WOODS / LIPS - AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, AVOID!!!!"

The consultation was hurried, felt that Mr Woods the consultant was just going through the motions and was awful to talk to did not want to listen to my concerns.
Terrible attitude, he wrote a clinical report which was not accurate and when I queried it instead of being professional and listening to my concerns, he just discharged me! Who does that?

The secretaries have broken English and cannot understand you, then send emails full of spelling errors.
ie; Secretary told me I have to contact the anaesthetist to confirm his fee, I queried this and said 'how am meant to know what an anaesthetist gets paid' they then said it was a mistake, this is the sort of chaos you are dealing with. For an anxious patient, the whole experience was awful, kept calling me asking me questions that were not relevant and so and so on.

Very unprofessional, and all over the place, the office is based in Cairo, so you are dealing with people who do not have an understanding of how professional consultants should operate in the UK

My health insurers could not believe how rude and unprofessional Mr Woods was, avoid him at all costs for any complicated dental work. My insurers will be considering whether to recommend him in future based on this experience.

I dodged a bullet, my gut told me he was not 100% always trust your gut - I am glad he will not be operating on me.

They are obviously going to respond to this review trying to justify their behaviour, but I am a patient with nothing to gain, and I promise you avoid LIPS and MR WOODS there are so many better consultants to see in London for maxillofacial and complicated dental work, who have secretaries based in the UK not Cairo and have empathy and patience with their patients, not conveyer/chaotic approach. Especially when you are paying top fees!

Dr Salman is wonderful. Extremely kind, charming, explains everything clearly. Takes great care to check on you pre and post operation. I feel in extremely safe and talented hands. I am hugely grateful to Dr Salman and her very efficient and kind assistant Bassma in ensuring everything was as easy, efficient as possible. I couldn't recommend highly enough.
