These guys are a dodgey outfit. They arrived after 4pm (booked for 2pm) in a rented van and very little equipment. I should have at this point sent them packing and hired someone else.

They rushed in, and started tearing down one ceiling with only a plastic sheet on the floor. I had asked them beforehand if we needed to clear the room above (concerns with gaps in floorboards), or even put seals around the door, but they said it would be fine.

It was not.

Dust and debris was thrown everywhere, all over the floors downstairs, throughout the room above. They frequently trapesed through the house with dusty boots. I was horrified, but it was too late to stop now.

After, I received an invoice for twice the area that was worked on, because there was a layer of plasterboard on the ceiling that hadn't been accounted for?!

I'm disputing the charges, and they are threatening court action.

Be smart, don't book these absolute chancers.

Cowboys. Arrive whenever the hell they feel like it with no respect towards family life. Overly rushed and untidy workmanship. Left job incomplete first visit. Did not communicate about changes before arriving at second visit, and simply left without completing job without informing me. Impossible to communicate with operations manager Brad Mather to resolve problem. Countless unreturned phone calls and emails. Was sent a solicitors letter threatening legal action on lack of payment before job was even completed. On Third and final visit job was at last completed but my husband had to call workers back as they left, as flashing was obstructing shed door from opening. Nearly 3 month saga during my last trimester of pregnancy. Stress I really did not need. Only person who was any help was Jodie who tried to get things sorted where she could. So Glad to have any interaction with this company behind me.

I originaly arranged for this company to remove my Asbestos roof from my garage. Unfortunately, when the replacement materials arrived from the supplier they were damaged so I hade to arrange for them to be replaced. This meant that I had no materials to replace the roof with so I contacted these cowboys and told them I would have to re-arrange. I recieved an abusive reply from them because I had cancelled, but I did so as soon as I discovered the problem. When the new materials arrived, I notified Safe Environment and they gave me a date about two and a half months time to remove my roof. In the meantime my garrage and everything in it was getting wet as the roof was leaking. A friend removed and disposed of the roof for me and I installed the new roof. I finally heard from Safe Environment the day before they wanted to come but I told them not to bother as I had had it done as I haddent heard from them. Now they are charging me for the removal of the roof and are threatening me with court action. I have told them I suffer from mental stress and am under the doctor for it and the stress level is getting to me but they insist on carrying on. Do Not USe this company

"Absolutely dreadful. Would not recommend"

I engaged Safe Environment to remove some asbestos from my house that was found in some artex. After the work was completed, bits of artex remained in the house (artex with asbestos is only dangerous when disturbed so this obviously caused us great concern). Avoidable, unnecessary damage to the surrounding areas was also caused when the work was done. I raised a complaint which was met with accusations by the company's sole director that I was making up stories to get a discount. I had photographic evidence of how the property was left which were also dismissed on the basis that we were manufacturing issues to avoid paying. We were also threatened with court action if we didn't pay and subsequent emails were ignored. An absolutely shocking experience and would not recommend. While the prices may be competitive, the whole point of asbestos removal is to ensure it is done safely - this didn't happen here. We would rather have paid double to ensure the work was done safely.
