from the first telephone call i knew was very lucky to have the dealer gold star warranty.dan walters was very kind in his words when i told him of my recent passing of my wife.dan went through evey point of the claim and was very professional and told me at evey stage what to do.my last warranty experience was with warrantywise not so good very slow too contact me as to the position of the claim.dan ist class.nice to have the know that it will be sorted.

Took weeks to finally get my answer from this place, it was a 3 month warrant provided when I bought the car. Engine fault light comes on, I'm told by the garage its an intake leak and the Warranty company said they don't cover those parts, apparently they aren't exotic or special parts just as other reviews have said they just try not to cover whatever they can to get out of paying.

"Miss selling the warranty products..."
Miss selling the warranty products and add-ons. I bought this Warranty to cover myself for a road trip in France. When I spoke to the advisor I was told to buy the `Gradual Deterioration and Wear & Tear` addon so that I will be covered from day 1.
A few weeks into the road trip and about 1.5k miles driven my car suffered a breakdown. I rang the warranty assist asking what to do and they advised me to take the car to diagnostics and submit the evidence.
After submitting all the evidence my claim got declined on basis of "components which were faulty or had suffered a breakdown prior to the start of the warranty" - All the components worked fine prior to the start of the warranty as I obviously drove 1.5k miles and were in souther France at time of breakdown. Also, I should have been covered by day 1 because of the addon.
When calling the warranty assist to get some explanation then I got promised 4 times that somebody will call back. They keep ignoring me and nobody has been in touch. I was stuck in France for 2 weeks and now have decided to send the car back to the UK.
Warranty assis is still not willing to help. So please be aware they will tell you anything to sell you a warranty and then will not honor the claim. You can tell that all staff is trained to decline any claim straight away.
I will be raising a complaint with the motoring trade ombudsman as to this day warranty assist is not willing to assist any way or form.
Note: They said they'll be in touch after my review, nobody has been in touch.@Georgina, still waiting for that call back as promised in response. 12/12/2022 still no action from warrantyassist.
Update: 23/01/2023: Nobody has still reached out regarding the issue. I've called multiple times, but now have given up and cancelled the warrantly.

"A warranty that does not cover your vehicle."
We found out that although every damage to the engine's parts of the vehicle and labour costs are covered according to the level of cover by Warranty Assist, they refused to accept the responsibility.
My question then is: Why pay for a Warranty that actually doesn't cover you?
Also, their staff over the phone are trying to avoid you.
Simple: STAY AWAY from Warranty Assist.
