"Pretty great but experience has room for improvement"
Recently purchased a 4G TEPPY device to use for our trip in Italy. The device worked pretty well although occasionally was slow to connect. The one request I'd love to make is a upgraded web portal. Three times in 10 days the data was blown through early on and theres no way to check what used it up (many phone settings trigger limiters off of cell service but they consider the TEP usage to be wifi). One morning we arrived in Venice after an hour drive and 1GB was gone by 11am. We had already turned off every auto-update would could think of on the phones. There's a setting within the web portal thats supposed to block large uses of data but it seems to get reset frequently. After the 1gb of 4G is used up the device switches to 3G which doesn't have sufficient coverage or speed most of the time. Even at 7.95/day for 1Gb at 4G speed is a bit expensive - unlimited is more of an emergency safety net for minimal use when it switches to 3G speed/coverage. It would also be nice for there to be some method of confirmation if you'd like to start a new day of data rather than if it detects the device is on, it just starts the ticcer. Anyhow we were pretty satisfied overall but there's room for improvement.

"South Korea Trip"
I went to South Korea with a Teppy 4G. The service immediately worked after switching on my device upon landing in Incheon Airport. The connection was spotless and seamless, simply amazing. I could not imagine how I could have been able to navigate Seoul without my Teppy! The Tep concierge was very useful and helpful, too! I will definitely use your service again and again whenever I travel.

"Horrible customer service"
Horrible customer service! My Tep device stopped working properly after the first 2 days. I chatted with, Ben, one of their customer service agents that refuse to believe me that the unit was no longer functioning properly and to send me a replacement for the rest of the trip. He argued with me through the chat and ultimately refused to send out a replacement unit or refund me. I had to resort to contacting my CC company to contest the charges and expect s full refund from them. This is a deceptive company who’s had many other complaints from other review sites other then their own as they don’t post the really bad reviews. They didn’t post mine and I sure many others. Stay away from this company and rent from some other! I expect a false response from the company as others have reviewed but it’s all fake!

"Totally ruined my trip!!!"
I can leave no star if I would! I placed an order one month before my travel date. Yet they waited until the very last minute to ship out my order, and they finally shipped out my package on the Wednesday before July 4th and it was after I called them! The package was couriered via UPS and was delivered to a UPS access point on Friday. AND THIS ACCESS POINT DONT OPEN TILL MONDAY! MY FLIGHT LEAVES ON SUNDAY! There is no way I can get my package and my service for my trip. It’s not UPS’s fault. It’s totally their fault waited until the last minute to ship your package via next day air. Jesus, not everybody will be there just waiting for package the day before travel!!!! We have a life and we work!!!!

I rented a wireless wifi to use in europe.As i arrived in italy i call because the machine did not work ,after talking to CS they said they can not doi anything and they can not provide a new machine fast enough beacause i was going to leave by car in 2 days.Today i am back in miami and the machine was sent 2 days ago back to Tep.They treate me like i was lying and that they have to check the usage without reading the logs of the calls.Also i placed a review in their website and they deleted the review

"Customer service is outstanding"
It's compact and the battery lasts for almost 12 hours. I really love their customer service! Before I rented I asked a lot of stupid questions and the support responded patiently.
After I received the device, I didn't know I have to long press to turn it on, so I asked their support again. And as always, they replied in a second.
This company should pay these support staff more. They are the keystones of the company.

"This company sold me faulty goods"
This company sold me faulty goods, then refused to refund me. I am disabled and unable to arrange return myself. The company advertises that they will replace or refund goods and will arrange pick up themselves, but they were unable to arrange pick up and so refused my refund. Terrible service.

Sometimes in life a company provides a service where it is really appreciated either by the service provided or by the money saved when using the service. In this case Tep provided both.
I recently travelled to Canada from Spain for my wedding and honeymoon. I live in Spain and my mobile provider (movistar) quoted me 12€ (£10) per mb !!! For data and 5€ to connect a call. In fact upon my return I received my bill with a 30€ surcharge for the sms messages to tell me about roaming costs.
Regardless I needed to find an alternative and following much online searching I found Tep. Looking at the website, the feedback I decided they were the company for me. The customer service was fast, accurate and helpful.
The Tep arrived 48hrs before I departed from Spain to Canada and the instructions were delightfully simple..... turn it on.... wait a minute and connect.
Other than when we were caught in a freak snow storm on the icefield parkway between Jasper and Banff where there was no mobile or 3G/4g signal it proved a godsend to us. Always in our back pack, never running out of juice it was great and most importantly of all saved us a fortune in one of the most expensive internet countries on the planet.
Will I use again... of course.
A word or advice..... I am an Apple person. Using iCloud and google photos. Turn off the auto sync of photos if you take as many pictures as we did as you will use your 1g or 2g allowance. We turned off auto backup when we realised how much data this uses and backed up when we got home. We also used a backup pen drive just to be sure. In 2 days I used 1.89gb, so work out what that would have cost a 12€ per mb.
