Jason was able to help my understanding of the life time mortgage as I had worrying, preconceived ideas!

The only real difference between this and other generic mortgages is the criterium.

I had tried to use other lenders in order to remortgage my house but had failed on every level due to my age and the fact that I did not have a PAYE job. No account was taken of the equity in my property or rental income from other property.

In this case, the opposite applied, my age and plenty of equity were what cracked it! Result!

The opportunity to pay the interest on the loan has made this product very appealing to me as I intend to pay the interest on the loan as with my previous mortgage so that the debt remains the same….. I can also appreciate the fact that I don’t have to pay any interest at all if I so choose! However this means
that the debt would grow exponentially.

The loan is also very flexible as it is portable and the interest rate is competitive.

I can highly recommend this product to anyone who has reservations!
