"A Frustrating, Time Wasting, Expensive Experience."
This company promised a lot initially: An on-site survey to establish the best signal provider for your area at a cost of £100.00 implying that a choice of signal providers were available, this doesn't happen. Broadband speeds greater 20Mbs and a minimum of 15Mbs (We chose the Business package). We advised that the best signal at our property was EE. However, the company decided O2 was to be installed, sim card came with the equipment. You wait longer than they advise for the fitting date to be confirmed by a third party. The equipment was sent on ahead to the wrong address. The fitter (Engineer?) turns up late (4hrs) and is ill prepared, jumps all over your house to try and establish the best position for your receiver using his mobile phone with poor signal, finally ringing the office to ask where the nearest communications mast was. None of the equipment had been pre-configured much to the annoyance of the fitter. Equipment was left but not fitted as we had been promised an EE sim to try and we would fit and test it ourselves (Not to incur more Engineer costs). Broadband speeds achieved by O2 sim were very disappointing and inconsistent and the signal strength was very low. The EE sim card never arrived despite chasing for it, therefore having lost all confidence we cancelled the contract within the 14 day cooling off period. We packaged up the equipment and sent it back to BroadBand Shack at our own expense. We then had to chase via emails and telephone calls for our refund less £100.00 which was attributed to admin costs! Hence a Frustrating, Time Wasting, Expensive Experience. Despite having cancelled we are in the process of trying to get BroadBand Shack to cancel the direct debt.

My Parents had difficulty accessing the internet. I suggested that they look at the Broadband Shack as they have come recommended to me before. They did a fantastic job and my parents can now access the internet whenever they like. Great service. Very much appreciated

Service is excellent and really pleased. My children have finally stopped moaning about our previously poor bandwidth! The only slight issue I had was a miscommunication somewhere in the process about setting up ongoing payments, but sorted quickly and probably all my fault for not reading the details..

Great customer service. There was no signal this morning. One call to Alexandra on the helpdesk and it was sorted. She did something remotely to the router and it’s now fine. Phone answered in seconds.

Few hiccups in communication , installation of antenna happened on a different day that I was initially told . Also payment for internet service was taken from me few weeks before service actually begun . However once the antenna was up and running , the 4G internet seems to be working well and its faster than anything else we’ve had before which is refreshing . Overall happy with service .
