"Trim your own Mural "

We bought a mural. As requested we advised size to the correct last Millimetre. it was largish approx. 1.5m x 1.7m. we expected the mural to be cut to correct size . Not only were the 4 sections delivered in one roll, and therefore had to be cut sequentially , but the 4th piece roll required longitudinal cutting and was supplied over width , resulting in a neat hanging of 3 pieces and a mingy 6 cm hand cut side piece. All 4 pieces were supplied over length by approx. 10cm.
If G&B ask for mm perfect sizing then either warn it will be supplied oversize or offer the option of exact size. All the trimming complicated the job immeasurably. The blown up size of the mural also lost some definition.

Phoned for advice re calculating for wallpaper, and my concern whether the large pattern repeat meant I needed more rolls. Great news - I can buy what I think is 1 more roll and if not needed I can return it! This is a great service, otherwise an expensive roll of wallpaper may end up not being used. This is an absolutely stunning product and we are very pleased with the outcome having opted to have this professionally applied in an entrance hall.

I do think its more expensive than it should be and please note that it is easy to underestimate how much you will need, so take advice before purchasing.
