Could no longer afford it, since they charge separately for a 16 year old. Money grabbing prices! I guess you have to be rich for convenience. Plus they told me that a lot of customers complained about this, and they called me a valuable customer. So they are trying to introduce a trust pilot for all family members to be joined together with my 16 year old to be on it. Still haven't heard from them. Instead I got an email saying they needed more information on me, or my account will be taken down. SCAMMERS! run far away from this horrible app! You'll be stuck for life.

A decent alternative to our health care crisis and the current inability to get medical advice without a family doc. I was raised that Tommy Douglas was the greatest Canadian. I am sure he is rolling in his grave. But once I accepted the dream is dead, I was prepared to access a second tier of health care. I will continue to use them. Thanks!

My 77 year old mother used this service as an emergency as she has had a health issue and had no doctor. She had a stroke 6 months ago that left her paralyzed and she was unable to attend a walk in clinic as suggested by 811. She thought the cost was $20 and not $20/mth. She contacted your doctors to request a refund less than 24 hours after subscribing and was denied. The ease of the medical access was great but the customer service was not. Now reading all of the reviews it seems as this is an ongoing issue.

I have no issues with the services provided by the doctors—my complaint is solely about the unfair and deceptive way the company advertises its subscription.

I signed up for what appeared to be a $20/month subscription, only to discover after checkout that I was being charged $240 upfront for an entire year, with no option to cancel. This was not clearly disclosed.

Realizing the issue within minutes, I immediately reached out to cancel, but my request was denied. I escalated the matter to management, arguing that their misleading marketing practices were unfair to consumers, but they still refused to issue a refund.

Ultimately, I disputed the charge with my credit card company, providing documentation of the unclear fine print. The merchant initially challenged the dispute, but in the end, my credit card company ruled in my favor, agreeing that the lack of transparency was unacceptable.

For me, this was never about the $240 - perhaps the fact that I’m a lawyer helped making the advocacy part easier but I felt duty bound to challenge this practice in the hope that the company would change its policies and disclose the terms upfront and fairly.

If you fall victim to this trap, my advice is fight for it. If there’s enough of us, businesses will stop trapping customers with hidden terms.

BEWARE IT’S A SCAM! They advertise monthly subscription for $20/m, as soon as you agree they bill you $240 upfront without notice. And there’s no way to refund the money, the only hope is a chargeback through your bank. Their services are fake, it’s unclear where their claimed doctors are located. They gave me a fake lab requisition form which was invalid in BC, it mentioned a name of a doctor who is located in New Mexico, USA. Their customer support is an automated system through Zendesk where they respond with standard emails which they drafted to respond to endless complaints. It’s a total scam, please stay away. My assumption is that positive reviews here are fake too, you can purchase such services.

The doctor was great.

But the website is misleading. It says $20/month for a yearly subscription..but they charge you outright for the entire year, $240.
When I contacted them to reverse this, they offered me $120 refund and made me consent to several things (leaving a review was not one of them)
Also it says that you can cancel your subscription at anytime and still use your account for the time paid, this is a flat out lie. They gave me the partial refund and revoked all access to the site.
All the reviews that point this out are conveniently hidden until after you've been scammed.
