Well Liesl : I came home to a furious couple of weeks and just didn't take the time to respond to your email. While I didn't do that I did recommend you to two different families thinking of a trip to Africa. Your plan was well thought out and well executed as I knew it would be. I have nothing to say about the trip except praise. The travel key app is a feature that you don't advertise and is very helpful for your clients. I travel a lot and have never had that from any other company. Kudos.
The various landscapes we toured were a major pleasure for all my family that had not been there. The abundance of game just made the trip more special.
Finally I will let you know that next year we will have a smaller group. They already want to start planning.

Lise was absolutely amazing. We planned to go on our trip in 2020 and then COVID delayed our plans. Lise was very accommodating and flexible with rearranging our trip since we had to delay it for 2 years. Lise listened to us and what we wanted and designed our trip to meet our needs. Once we arrived in Africa, the logistics, accommodations, and excursions were first rate. It truly was a trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend Lise and African Safari to anyone who wants an amazing and life changing experience in Africa.

Ilze Fox at the Africa Safari team was wonderful to work with - even through COVID! She planned a great trip for my family that included 3 different & Beyond lodge experiences. Due to COVID we had a 2 year delay, but Ilze kept us updated on the travel guidelines and safety. She was always responsive, answered all of our question, and even modified our accommodations when we decided to include our son on the trip.

"Our incredible safari guru, Daisy"

Our safari guru, Daisy Du Plessis, planned a wonderful South African trip for us. We knew very little about the country and even less about going on safari. However, from the minute we arrived in South Africa, we felt welcome. A driver and guide arranged by Daisy picked us up at the Cape Town airport and drove us to our first hotel. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about South African history and culture, and we learned a great deal from her.

Because of Daisy's suggestions, we stayed at Mikanyi Lodge and Lodolozi Lodge, and could not have had a better experience at either one. Besides being treated incredibly warmly by each staff, we saw nature in a way we never had before. Highlights included seeing prides of lions almost each day, sleeping, playing, hunting, feeding, and even being reunited. We saw leopards and cheetahs more than once, and giraffe, elephants and cape buffalo over and over again, in extremely close proximity. We even had a front row seat to a herd of cape buffalo hold off an attacking lion pride----incredible!

The hotels and safari lodges where we stayed were extremely luxurious and comfortable, and we hated to leave each one. One night, when something unexpected happened, we emailed Daisy and she responded within minutes (at 9:00 at night} and fixed our problem for us immediately. Her planning and accessibility made us feel very comfortable in a country we had never visited.

Besides safari, we spent several nights in Cape Town at her suggestion, and thoroughly enjoyed the wine valley of Franschook and the Cape Town waterfront.

I highly recommend Daisy Du Plessis to anyone looking to travel to South Africa on safari. She truly made it the trip of a lifetime for us!
