this is my second umrah trip with 7 continents travel in 3 months. Our package was dealt with moiz and he was very polite and courteous throughout the whole booking process. Any isssues i had Moiz handled quickly and efficiently. Both hotels in Mecca and Madina were very clean and spacious, the breakfast buffets had a good choice of food. The transport service was excellent and vey punctual. the drivers were very courteous at all times. The whole umrah experience was beautiful and I am so glad we came with 7 Continents . I am hoping to travel again to Umrah this year ins sha Allah and will be booking with 7 Continents. Moiz is an asset to the company.

My travel agent was Abu Bakr and we communicated mainly thru WhatsApp messages. Starting from the beginning, my brother planned to go 10 days in Saudi Arabia (5 days Mecca, 5 days Medina) and 4 days in Egypt. He asked would if I would like to go with him and we'll be a part of a group and whole package would cost almost 2k, including flights, transportation, tour guide, hotels, breakfasts. My brother paid for his spot and he was secured. I said yes then he passed my number to Abu Bakr. He messaged me asking for money straight away if I wanted to go. I said to him i want to pay in installments and initially paid £600 deposit. He would then message me daily, sometimes hourly asking for money, putting pressure on me and using FOMO tactics. He was very relentless. I asked him several times to stop pestering me for money when I said I'll pay in installments. Eventually, he backed off. I was very suspicious of him/7 continents because he sounded like a scammer and I didn't trust him, so I decided to visit their office in Tooting and they seemed legit. I payed the remaining amount after a few weeks and asked for documents, recipient and all the necessary information. Abu Bakr became radio silent. No communication whatsoever. A month or 2 go by and flight, hotel, tour guide, transportation information was still not provided. He messages me a week before our flight and sent me VISA for Saudi Arabia and flight information via email. I'm still missing other information at this point. My brother and I left from Heathrow Airport to cairo, then cairo to jeddah. There's no one there waiting to meet so got hustled into paying £80 for a taxi ride to out hotel in Medina at 2am. We tried to check-in using our names at the reception but the receptionist said there's no room here for us. I connected to WiFi and messaged Abu Bakr and eventually he told me the room reservation number and the room was under our tour guide's name Nasa. I was very angry at the time. We went upto our room and finally met our group (Nasa the tour guide and an African man) at 2am. Fast forwarding, when entering Egypt, we were denied entry because we didn't have VISAS so had to pay £25 each. Abu Bakr failed to mention Egypt VISAS were not included. At then end of our holidays, when trying to depart from the airport, my name was not showing on the system. Abu Bakr accidentally set my departure date for November 2024 instead of October 2024 so I had to pay £135 to change the date to return to the UK with my brother. I was very unhappy at the way we were treated as paying customers which I do feel I overpaid. The tour guide was nice and friendly but unprofessional and unorganised but this is not a complaint about him personally. To end this, I was not given all the necessary information which was needed or it was partially sent last minute. No hotel check-in information, no tour guide name or number provided, I was not informed there were 3 groups of 4 people, I did not know the other members of my group, no transportation information, I had to pay £80 cash-in-hand for a taxi ride which was supposed to be included in our package, I was not informed that Egypt VISAS were not included, the incorrect departure dates that I had to pay myself to correct. I later found out the other 2 members came from Gatwick Airport together and used the transport vehicle that was for all 4 of us to travel to the hotel. Why did Abu Bakr arrange for me and my brother to fly from Heathrow and the other 2 members to fly from Gatwick? This was a bad decision on his part. All the problems above, plus his bad service, persistently asking for money, lack of communication and information after my payment. Everytime I asked him questions, he replied, I told your brother and that my brother should've told me. When I asked him questions directly, he couldn't give me straightforward answers. After returning back the the UK, I went back to their office and told the manager about all the problems that happened. There was no smooth transition at the airport and it was very stressful. The manger did an investigation and reimbursed only £185 after everything which was still short of what am actually owed. When I mentioned this on WhatsApp, he said we did not have to pay you but we did anyway. I conclud my rant and hope people will stay clear from 7 continents. Thank you.
