They talked me through everything that would happen and reassured me that when the time came everything would be taken care of according to our wishes, & it was. Jill & Simon were professional, kind & compassionate throughout the whole process. They visited me at home to make the arrangements, nothing was too much trouble. They suggested the celebrant Nell & Eliza the florist. Both of who were excellent & took the time to make sure everything was perfect for us. We, as a family, have so much appreciation for the way Jill and Simon advised us and looked after our father during the period he was in their care. We also felt thoroughly cared for and were so grateful for the additional introductions to Nell and Richard. They were great. Nell did a fabulous job of bringing all our thoughts together to make a coherent and wonderful story of our parents' lives. Richard evoked lovely memories putting the photo montage to music. It was such a positive experience during what was a very sad time for us. We've had so many lovely comments from everyone who joined us, both near and far. Live streaming the service from Bramcote Crematorium so that no family or friend was excluded worked perfectly. The day couldn't have gone better and although an extremely sad occasion, felt like a true record and celebration of Dad's life. I would like to pass on the biggest thanks to Trust Funerals and the team for the effort and care they took.

On first speaking to Simon he was helpful and prepared to take time to share a lot of information.He gave me confidence to deal with the preparations for the cremation of my much loved step son.

I first contacted Trust Funerals for some guidance and advice as this has been my first and only experience organising a funeral. Simon answered the phone and gave me nothing but advice and support. We discussed some of the options that Simon and Jill offer and what stood out was not once did I feel pressured to take their offers. All throughout our conversation he was advising and helping me reflect on the kind of woman my mother was and base my decisions on her and how I was feeling. What made me trust him was the fact he never asked for my contact details and left it up to me to think it through and contact them when I felt ready. I felt reassured and unpressured on any decision! I made my choice to chose Trust Funerals based on this. When we met in person to discuss in detail the service I wanted, again at no point did I feel I couldn't walk away or ask for more support! Both Simon and Jill are caring and passionate about the help and support they give at what is probably your worst and most vulnerable time. The service we chose was very personal to us and quite different to the norm but nothing was any trouble for them and we all felt nothing but care from them both throughout the process. They were friendly, great listeners and helped myself and my family through an extremely difficult time. "Wise choice"

My husband made the wise choice to ask Jill and Simon at Trust Funerals to care for my mums funeral which is exactly what they did.
Every wish was completely catered for in a respectful, calm and efficient way.
Our wishes of a very plain coffin, our own flowers and slightly unusual music choice along with mums own vicar was supported and celebrated by Simon and Jill.
They both went beyond and above what was expected and we thank them so much for making a potentially stressful day as stress less as possible.

"We recently booked Jill and Simon on…"

We recently booked Jill and Simon on recommendation as we didn’t know where to start and it was an inspired choice. Their personal service was second to none and Jill was always on the end of a phone to answer any queries. They visited us at home to discuss plans for my husband’s funeral and guided us through the options - “you can have anything you want”. We didn’t want a traditional service, more a celebration of life and that’s exactly what we got with photos and readings and the help of an amazing celebrant in James Greely. Several attendees remarked afterwards it was the best funeral they had ever been to and our heartfelt thanks go to Jill and Simon for enabling it and providing such a wonderful send off.

"This is the second time that my family…"

This is the second time that my family has asked Simon and Jill for support in planning a funeral. The first time was for my mother’s funeral, just under five years ago; this time it was for my father’s funeral. On each occasion they have proven to be kind, discrete and courteous. They quickly arranged to collect my father’s body from a care home and then dealt with my sister and I in working out the arrangements. On the day of the funeral they quietly guided and supported us and made the occasion feel very personal. They are definitely not corporate people - the service they provide is very personal and geared to an individual family. They took note of our wishes and acted upon them. Communication before and after the funeral is thorough, prompt and polite. The cost is known beforehand and there are no hidden extras.
