Absolutely fantastic service!!! Total confidence from the second that my telephone call was answered. Friendly, compassionate and most importantly caring and personable. Nothing is to much trouble for Jill and Simon. They made a very difficult situation very easy, despite me living in Scotland and my mum in Derbyshire. No nasty hidden extras anywhere. I honestly can't rate this family owned company high enough. Please please give them a try. I assure you they will surpass all of your expectations. "Wonderfully Professional and Sympathetic"

At the time my mum-in-law passed away in Derby I was resident abroad and had never even attended a funeral in over 30 years. I needed some clear guidance on the options available and on making the arrangements. Apart from wishing a simple cremation, my mum in law had left no further instructions. To the rescue came Simon and Jill, both highly professional, sympathetic and full of ideas / recommendations. Starting from a base plan they reviewed all of the additional options I may wish to consider. We were able to tailor the service (and the price) to my closest family's wishes. Once decided upon everything was organised by Simon and Jill. The service itself went just as planned.
A couple of weeks after the service I received the recording. The music and singing were a little over-gained, I mentioned this to Jill and a week later I got a second much clearer copy. By this stage I was definitely a 'past customer' but she still made the effort to get it fixed.

From the very first telephone contact to the final act of bringing dad home Jill was both professional and helpful. My dad was a very solitary man and insisted on having a quiet, no frills cremation. To my surprise Jill advised that a few of his close family could attend what in the end was a very inimate and personal ceremony - perfect! We had fulfilled dads wishes to the letter even playing a song he had chosen prior to his passing. The very fact that the funeral could be completely tailored to his (and our) wishes made it so worthwile for us and the cost was a fraction of a standard funeral which has less flexibility. I would highly recommend Trust Funerals to anyone wishing to make a funeral less traditional, less expensive and less traumatic. 5 star service thank you so much.
