Jill and Simon from Trust Funerals made the entire experience as stress free as possible. We were reassured by their calm and friendly support from the first heartbroken conversation through to the final service for my Dad, Keith Beatson. Mum didn't want a traditional service and the contemporary offering from Trust Funerals totally fit the bill for our family. The extra kind touches, such as Jill calling us the night before the service, to check we were all okay, were both unexpected and welcomed. I can't fault the quality of support we received.

Having never organised a funeral before it was so daunting to then take on the responsibility of organising my mother's. As soon as I started correspondence with Simon I knew It was going to be ok. Jill and Simon helped to take the load off and guided me throughout the whole experience. I'm sure that this is the case for many companies but the little added touches made a difference: wearing something green (my mother's wishes for the family); supporting with music choices; consistent reassurance via WhatsApp messages; personally delivering the ashes to our house; attentive listening, which made me feel that they actually knew me, my family and my mum personally, gave me the warm feeling that she was in the best possible hands that we as a family could wish for.

On the day of the funeral, they were there: close by but also giving the distance we needed as a family. They knew exactly when to step in and support and when to give us the time we needed.

In addition, as a family we felt that the whole funeral cost was so much cheaper than what we were expecting, having listened to other people's stories. They took on board who my mum was and what was right for her funeral with no pushy extras.
